WAYS TO RECHARGE SALIK ACCOUNT IN DUBAI
Depending on your individual preferences, you can choose between the following ways to add credit to your Salik account.
USE THE SALIK RECHARGE CARD
One of the most convenient ways to top-up a Salik account is to use the recharge card. These cards are available in AED 50, AED 100 and AED 200 denominations. There are two simple ways to add balance to your Salik Dubai account using the recharge card.
CALL
- Scratch the film to reveal the 12-digit number
- Call the Salik helpline at 800-SALIK (72545)
- Select your language on the automated system
- Follow the instructions to enter the 12-digit number
Once the process is completed, you will receive a confirmation message on the phone with your updated account balance.
SMS
- Scratch the film to reveal the 12-digit Salik recharge number
- Compose message: R<space>12-digit number<space>Salik account number<space>Salik PIN
- Send a text to 72545
A message will be sent to you confirming the successful recharge and your new RTA Dubai Salik account balance. The Salik card can also be used to refill your account via the website.
HEAD OVER TO SALIK KIOSKS
Salik kiosks in Dubai are located in Deira, Al Kifaf, Al Aweer, Umm Ramool, Al Tawar and Al Barsha areas. As soon as you locate the one nearest to you, here’s what you need to do to recharge your Salik account in Dubai.
- Log in using your email id and password
- Click on the “Recharge” tab
- Pay the top-up amount in cash
- With a successful recharge, your Salik account will be updated
RECHARGE SALIK IN DUBAI VIA BANKING SERVICES
Banks in Dubai also offer the convenience of Salik account recharge through various channels. You can top up Salik account balance via mobile banking, ATM, SMS, IVR and CDM services. SALIK WEBSITE
You can simply buy Salik recharge online via the ePay facility. For that,
- Visit the RTA Salik recharge portal
- Log in with your Salik user credentials
- Click on the “online payment” tab
- Enter your Salik and payment details and submit
- Your Salik account will be refilled as soon as you complete the recharge
You can also use the recharge card for Salik recharge online via the website. Simply follow these steps.
- Visit the Salik recharge portal (same as above)
- Log in with you Salik user credentials
- Click on the “recharge number” tab
- Enter your Salik details and the 12-digit card number and submit
- Your Salik will be updated
SALIK MOBILE APP
Smart Salik is just one of the various RTA applications in Dubai that make the commute and transportation-related matters in the emirate easier to deal with. To use the Smart Salik application for recharge, here’s what you need to do:
- Download the Salik app and register
- Log in with your username and PIN code
- Click on the menu and choose the “recharge” option
- Select “ePay” and enter your details
- Punch in the recharge amount you wish to add to your Salik account and submit
- The screen will show you a message that confirms your Salik account number and the new balance.
Please Note:
- You can recharge your account whenever you want via more than one recharging method
- Make sure your Salik Account has sufficient balance to pay toll charges. A fine of AED 50 may be applicable in case of insufficient balance.
- Your Salik Dubai recharge limit is AED 50k and the minimum amount you can recharge at a time is AED 50.
HOW TO CHECK SALIK ACCOUNT BALANCE IN DUBAI
The process for transportation cards’ balance inquiry in Dubai is quite straightforward. To check the balance in your Salik account, simply:
- Call the Salik helpline at 800-72545
- Press 3 to log in
- Enter your account number and PIN code
- Press 1 and your account balance will be conveyed to you
