Located in Dubailand, on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311), the venue is easily accessible from many parts of the city. If you are wondering how to reach this immensely popular destination, here’s how to get to Global Village by public transport.
HOW TO GET TO GLOBAL VILLAGE BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Whether you want to experience the epic Global Village rides, enjoy cultural performances or try out tasty new cuisines at the visually appealing pavilions, there are countless reasons to visit Global Village Dubai this year.
Here are the best, easy-on-pocket modes of transportation to get you to Dubai’s favourite entertainment destination, where you can trot around the globe!
GETTING TO GLOBAL VILLAGE BY BUS
RTA DUBAI BUS ROUTES
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has kicked off Global Village’s 29th season by resuming operations on four dedicated bus routes. These routes, 102, 103, 104, and 106, connect Global Village to key locations like Rashidiya, Union Station, Al Ghubaiba and Mall of the Emirates. Coach buses operate on these routes to provide visitors with a comfortable and safe journey.
Here are the details of the Global Village bus routes:
- Route 102 from Rashdiya Bus Station, operating every 60 minutes.
- Route 103 from Union Bus Station, passing through Al Rebat Street every 40 minutes.
- Route 104 from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station, passing through Al Jafiliya Metro Station every 60 minutes.
- Route 106 from Mall of the Emirates Bus Station, passing through Al Barsha A2, Al Barsha Lulu Supermarket, Dubai American Academy 2, Classic Crystal 2 and Al Quoz, Clinical Pathology Services 2, again every 60 minutes.
- Bus 107 from Al Nahda Bus Station 1.
The service runs daily from 03:15 pm to 11:15 pm, with 30 minutes of travel time. For more details on bus stops and schedules, call the RTA directly on 800-9090.
From 29th November 2024, RTA will operate Bus 108 from Satwa Bus Station to Global Village. This route will operate on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and during special events. The new RTA bus route will be available from 02:00 pm to 01:00 am at a 60-minute frequency.
BUS ROUTES FROM NORTHERN EMIRATES
However, if you are coming from the northern emirates, here’s how you can reach Global Village:
- Ras Al Khaimah: Enjoy hassle-free travel to Global Village with two daily round trips, available seven days a week. For more details, contact the RAK Transport Authority directly at 800 1700.
- Ajman: Experience the convenience of three daily round trips from Al Musalla Station. On weekdays, the first bus departs from Ajman at 02:15 pm, and the last return trip from Global Village is at 12:30 am. On weekends, while the first departure remains at 02:15 pm, the last bus back from Global Village departs at 01:30 am.

Want to sit back and be personally driven to Global Village? Book ride-hailing services like Uber, Careem, Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) or RTA taxi, the more cost-effective option. You can book a taxi during the venue’s operational hours, from 04:00 pm to 12:00 am or (01:00 am on Thursday to Saturday).

DRIVING TO GLOBAL VILLAGE – WHAT TO EXPECT?
Global Village is easily accessible since it’s located on two of Dubai’s major highways. With 20,000 parking spots, there’s plenty of space for everyone. A new valet parking service is available at the Happiness Gate for just AED 150 for added convenience. Once parked, hop on the free GV Express train from P3 parking to the Gate of the World.
Here are the details of the parking arrangements for Global Village visitors:
- General Parking: Area P1 – P12 Free of Charge.
- VIP parking on weekdays and weekends: AED 200 per day.
- Paid parking on weekdays and weekends: AED 120 per day.
- Rickshaw drop-off starts from AED 5 per person – from your parking area to the entry gate.
CAN I GET TO GLOBAL VILLAGE BY ABRA?
Sadly, there’s no way to get to Global Village by abra. However, RTA is bringing back its beloved abra service to Global Village for the 2024-2025 season. Two electric abras will be cruising the waterways, offering visitors a relaxing and picturesque way to experience the park!

The 29th season started on 16th October 2024 and is scheduled to end on 11th May 2025.
WHAT ARE THE TICKET PRICES FOR THE 29TH SEASON?
- Weekday Tickets: AED 25 (Sunday – Thursday, excluding public holidays)
- Any Day Tickets: AED 30 (Valid for all days)
