On 21 October 2021, Ain Dubai Bluewaters Island opened to the public. A one-of-a-kind experience, a ride on this observation wheel lasts around 48 minutes. LED screens in each capsule provide information to visitors on all the landmarks they can spot amidst the captivating 360 views!

- Each spoke in the Dubai ferris wheel is longer than a professional football pitch. If you were to lay all the cable wires inside the spoke end-to-end, the total length would be equal to the distance from Dubai to Cairo — a whopping 2,400 kilometres!
- A staggering 9,000 tonnes of steel was used to create the Dubai Eye, 25% more than what was used for the Eiffel Tower.
- The attraction is a marvel of modern European architecture. The high-tech capsules have been manufactured in Switzerland by Swiss Rides on behalf of the project’s main contractor, Hyundai.

How do you get to Bluewaters Island from Dubai?
If you are travelling on Sheikh Zayed Road towards Abu Dhabi, take Exit 31 and follow the signs for Bluewaters Island.
The nearest public transport stations are Jumeirah Beach Residence Tram Station and DMCC Metro Station. There is also a Marine Transport Station on Bluewaters Island for those who want to travel by the Dubai Ferry.

How long does it take to travel to Dubai Eye?
A trip to the attraction takes around 38 minutes. However, visitors are recommended to arrive 30 or 60 minutes earlier. This will give them plenty of time to get over the admission process, use the restroom or purchase snacks before boarding. Please note, the cabins do not have bathrooms. After the cabin experience, you can visit the Seaview Lounge on the first floor or the bistro cafe on the ground floor.
