What challenges does TruCheck™ solve for property seekers?
Jacob starts by highlighting one of the key issues faced by property seekers in the UAE searching for properties online – ascertaining the availability and validity of a listing. Certain listings may have images or descriptions that don’t match the actual property being advertised, or the property no longer being available on the market. This common scenario could leave both parties (sellers/landlords and buyers/tenants) unsatisfied with the outcome.
That’s where Bayut’s comprehensive authentication solution TruCheck™ steps in to bridge the gap, says Jacob. Real estate agents advertising properties on Bayut can now validate the availability and authenticity of their listing through a rigorous process, following which the listing is granted the TruCheck™ badge on Bayut.
The benefit of the TruCheck™ feature for users on Bayut is twofold: as a buyer or tenant, you can rest assured that the images and details of the property being advertised are authentic, and that the property is still available for rent or sale in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
How can property seekers use the TruCheck™ badge?
Jacob recommends users searching for properties for rent or sale on Bayut to enter their preferences (location, number of bedrooms, budget) and look for listings with the TruCheck™ badge on the search results page. These listings have been authenticated by Bayut’s quality control team and are currently available on the market. Users can also click on the TruCheck™ badge to find out how recently the listing has been validated. This approach, says Jacob, will help prospective buyers and tenants to find exactly the type of properties they’re looking for!
How does a property listing on Bayut get the TruCheck™ badge?
Getting the TruCheck™ badge for a property listing on Bayut requires two important steps. Firstly, the agent submits documents such as title deed, owner’s passport copy and Emirates ID for the property. Once these documents have been verified by Bayut’s quality assurance teams, the property listing receives a ‘Checked’ badge.
After this, the agent has to physically visit the property, and take photographs of the apartment or villa according to certain specifications, using the BayutPro app. Bayut’s quality control team again verifies the photographs to confirm that the property being advertised is still available for rent or sale. The listing then receives the TruCheck™ badge, which will be valid for 30 days.
Jacob reveals that AZCO Real Estate Brokers has very stringent policies when it comes to authentic listings. They have specific teams that regularly check on the quality of their listings on Bayut and ensure that each listing has high-definition photos, proper descriptions and virtual tours, helping buyers and tenants get a clear picture of the property even before they get in touch with the agent! When it comes to the TruCheck™ feature on Bayut, Jacob mentions that AZCO’s real estate agents go through the authentication process every 15 days to ensure that listings are accurate and up-to-date.
