MONITORING
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the launch of a comprehensive monitoring platform that will integrate e-scooters and other non-motorised means of transportation under its Enterprise Command and Control Centre (EC3).
With the help of AI (artificial intelligence) technologies, this system will facilitate greater traffic safety at dedicated crossing lanes for cyclists and pedestrians. Four e-scooter operators have been linked to the system in the initial phase.
