The most popular area for renting apartments in the first quarter of the year 2017 was Dubai Marina, the most sought-after residential area in the city. The locality received 13% share of all queries for rental spaces in Dubai in Q1. Apartments in Dubai Marina offer beautiful waterfront views, while the area has waterside promenades, cycling and running tracks and a vibrant social scene. Jumeirah Lakes Towers was on the second spot in Q1 2017 with a 6% share of inquiries.  The area is extremely popular with tenants for offering housing luxuries at affordable rates. JLT is also popular as it is centrally located and one of the key corporate hubs in the emirate.

The home of Burj Khalifa, Downtown Dubai, was the third most popular renting locality in Dubai in Q1. The locality received 5.3% of the queries for rental apartments in the emirate, while the fourth most popular area for renting apartments in Dubai in Q1 2017 was Dubai Silicon Oasis.  Business Bay, the most important commercial district in the emirate, took the fifth spot on the list.

Villas

Villas in Dubai are ideal for those looking for the ultimate luxury of space. In the villa category, Mirdif remained the most popular area with intending renters with a 14% share of inquiries. The area is close Mushrif Park and numerous other recreational destinations. Second place on the list went to Al Barsha, a sought-after community situated along the main Sheikh Zayed Road.Villas in Al Barsha received 8% of inquiries on Bayut.com in Q1. The third place went to Jumeirah that accounted for almost 7.5% of the rental queries, while Arabian Ranches was at the number four spot in the outgoing quarter. Umm Suqeim was the fifth most popular villa renting community in Q1 2017.

Offices

When it comes to rental office spaces in Dubai, none can match Business Bay. The area is a thriving business hub and headquarter of some of the most well-known organisations in the city. Hence, office spaces in Business Bay outclassed the rest with a whopping 22% share of queries in Q1. The number two position went to Jumeirah Lakes Towers as it received 19% of inquiries meant for rental office spaces. Moreover, 9% of searches went to offices in Sheikh Zayed Road area, landing it the third place. The last two spots on the top five list went to claimed by Deira with 7% and Al Quoz with 6% share of search queries.
