In 2019, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in partnership with Oman’s National Transport Company Mwasalat resumed the 201 route of Dubai RTA Bus to Muscat. A signed agreement between the two entities added new bus stations and routes connecting the two destinations.
This development came as part of a series of new bus routes across the country by the RTA, which adds to the convenience of travellers who wish to explore the region. Of course, this also benefits those who travel between the countries for business dealings.

DUBAI-OMAN BUS TICKET PRICES
A one-way Dubai to Oman bus ticket price is just AED 55. Likewise, the Dubai to Oman bus fare for a round-trip is AED 90. Currently, you have to purchase the tickets directly from the RTA stand at the Abu Hail MRT Station at Exit 2 or the Mwasalat Office in Deira near the Clock Tower.
Also remember that you have to pay an exit fee at the UAE border, which is AED 35 per person. Do keep this receipt handy.
BUS TIMINGS
The Dubai Oman bus departs thrice a day. Dubai to Oman bus timings are as follows.

Those who have not been vaccinated will have to pay for and take the Covid-19 test on arrival, self-isolate at their own expense and wear an electronic bracelet until the results arrive. If the test returns positive, a 10-day quarantine is mandatory.
