DUBAI RUN 2023 ROUTES
ROUTE OPTIONS
As mentioned, Dubai Run 2023 allows participants to choose from two routes.
- 5km Route: The shorter 5 kilometres Dubai Run 2023 route starts on Sheikh Zayed Road close to the Museum of the Future. The route then passes the Dubai Opera and Burj Khalifa before ending near Dubai Mall.
- 10km Route: The longer route begins at the same point but towards the Dubai Canal and heads to the Trade Centre. It ends near the Dubai International Trade Centre (DIFC) on Al Mustaqbal Street. This Dubai Run route is recommended for more experienced runners.
BEFORE THE RUN
After registering for the race, collect your bib from Fitness Village: Run and Ride Central located at One Central. On the day of the run, make sure that you reach the destination at your allotted time slot so that the management can ensure safety and pre-run experience of all the participants.
It’s also important to plan your journey. If you want to reach via public transport, Dubai Metro is the easiest way to get there. If you’re participating in the 5km run, head for Emirates Towers or DIFC metro stations to start your run. For those who are participating in the 10km run, it is advised to head for World Trade Centre or Max stations.
DURING THE RUN
The event isn’t a race, so you can run at your leisure without worrying about people passing you. Mai Dubai water stations are available along and at the end of the routes, so ensure you take advantage of them to stay hydrated. Also, while Dubai Run is open for kids, they must be supervised by adults.
There is no bag drop at the run and you are not allowed to run with a runsack. So keep your valuables to a minimum and keep them with you at all the times. And last but not least, don’t forget to have fun!
POST RUN
Those who don’t finish in time can rely on guides to reach the nearest metro stations or parking spots to go back home. And after you’re done with the run, you can head over to Dubai Mall for a nutritious breakfast.
PEOPLE OF DETERMINATION
Dubai Run 2023 will have a special team to cater to people of determination who participate in the event. Those interested can contact management at PoD@linkviva.com for more details.
