Word is, Dubai has its own version of Monopoly now. It’s true, the much talked about Dubai Monopoly board game is in stores now. With the launch of the Monopoly Dubai version, the emirate becomes the first Middle Eastern city to have a version of its own.
What Makes Monopoly Dubai Edition Special?
For the longest of times, Monopoly has evolved over the years into a comprehensive landlord and realty game, attempting to mimic real-world scenarios including clever investment choices, good ROI and more. The classic version of the game is London-centric, but it’s not the only Monopoly board you’ll find in the world. Over the years, Monopoly has released over 100 city editions, including the ones for

Monopoly Dubai Limited Edition is Not the Same as Dubai-opoly
Not too long ago, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry launched Dubai-Opoly, a local version of the Monopoly board game. The idea behind it was to promote Dubai as a hub for global business and tourism. That game is different from Dubai Monopoly.
Dubai Monopoly board game is produced by Winning Moves. This UK-based company has exclusive rights to manufacture the customised city-editions of Hasbro board games (the original owners of the Monopoly game franchise).
Dubai Monopoly Price
Since the game didn’t hit the shelves until Tuesday, November 5, 2019 – the game manufacturers and distributors have refrained from disclosing the price. However, if one is to make an educated guess, the Dubai Monopoly price may range between AED 120 and AED 220. It’s only a matter of time till we find out for sure.
So, who’s up for trading property just for fun? Don’t get us wrong – we know how serious a game of Monopoly can get, especially when you have you eyes on it’s the Burj Khalifa prime property.
