ABOUT DUBAI HOLOGRAM UNIVERSE
Dubai Festival and Retail Establishment (DFRE), in collaboration with New Dimension Productions (NDP), a premier hologram production agency, launched the first-ever ”Dubai Hologram Universe” on 30th January 2022.
The joint venture by DFRE and NDP will organise hologram concerts of iconic singers and musicians twice a week. The shows will cater to all music genres, featuring water effects, holograms and mapping projections.
Commenting on the launch of Dubai Hologram Universe, Hasan M. Hina, Founder and Executive Producer & Director of NDP, said:
“We are proud to announce our joint initiative with DFRE as ‘Dubai Hologram Universe’ marks the first step to achieving our long-term strategy to position Dubai as the capital of Hologram entertainment. We aim at producing this new form of breakthrough digital performances and make it available to the audience on weekly basis, with new and unique shows every month, hence creating unforgettable moments for them.”
ABDEL HALIM HAFEZ SHOW – THE FIRST-EVER HOLOGRAM CONCERT IN DUBAI
The first hologram show, Sawwah, started during the last week of the Dubai Shopping Festival and runs throughout March 2022. The concert lasts for about 90 minutes and features live music and special effects, including an aqua stage filled with 2.7 million litres of water.
Audiences have been captivated by the amazingly life-like hologram of the late Egyptian, pan-Arab singer Abdul/Abdel Halim Hafez, performing his many iconic songs at this astounding venue in Al Habtoor City Business Bay.
DUBAI HOLOGRAM UNIVERSE LOCATION
The immersive hologram shows take place at Al Habtoor City Theatre in Dubai, known for the award-winning La Perle by Dragone.
CONCERT DATES AND TIMINGS
The current run of Sawwah concerts will continue until 27th March 2022. The dates of the performances are shown below:
- 6th March
- 13th March
- 20th March
- 27th March
Please note that the performances start at 08:30 pm sharp.

The ticket prices depend on the type of concert and experience. There are four categories: Silver, Gold, Platinum and VIP:
