Bayut Strikers Cup: The ultimate corporate cricket championship!
As the UAE celebrates the cricketing genius from across the continent in the exciting Asia Cup 2018, we at Bayut have also been getting the real estate fraternity in Dubai to test their prowess in the iconic sport with the consummate corporate cricket championship: Bayut Strikers Cup. After an exciting series of matches on 13 and 20 September, to bring out the competitive spirit of brokerages from across the emirate, Property Zone Real Estate emerged as the champions of the Bayut Strikers Cup. Here are the highlights of the fierce cricket tournament for real estate agencies in Dubai!
How the Strikers Cup Played Out
The much-awaited sporting event organised by Bayut started off on September 13 at United Sports Pro in Al Quoz. The 24 competing Dubai property agencies were split into eight groups, where each team got to play a minimum of two games in the tournament. The unique 8-hour format of the game was played out on four indoor cricket pitches at United Sports Pro. Here are the groups that the real estate agencies in Dubai were split into, to battle it out for sporting glory!

- Group B: Property Zone Real Estate, Capri Real Estate Broker, MRK Real Estate
- Group C: Homes4Life Real Estate, Invest Real Estate, Texture Properties
- Group D: SNS Properties, Stonehouse Properties, Quantum Real Estate
- Group E: Positive Properties, Azure Properties, Al Burooj Real Estate
- Group F: Pleasant Real Estate, Rocky Real Estate, Moon Reality Real Estate
- Group G: Springfield Real Estate, Maverick Realty, Unique World Business Centre
- Group H: Royal Crown Real Estate, Nexus Capital Real Estate Brokers, Bayut.com

The exciting quarters and semifinals of the Bayut Striker's Cup
Once all the group stage matches of this 2018 cricket tournament for real estate agencies in Dubai came to an end, it was time to decide which of these teams would go through to the quarters and the semifinals of the match. The very first quarterfinal cricket match was between Vierra Property Brokers, the winners of Group A, and Property Zone, the winners of Group B. Continuing their brilliant form throughout the course of the tournament, Property Zone emerged victorious in this game, sealing their position in the semifinals. The second game was between Homes4Life and SNS Real Estate, the third between Al Burooj Real Estate and Pleasant Real Estate and the last quarterfinal match of the cricket tournament for Dubai property agents was between Springfield Real Estate and Nexus Capital Real Estate.
The semifinals saw the eventual winners Property Zone tackle the team from Homes4Life and the runners-up team Nexus Capital, win against Pleasant Real Estate.
The supercharged atmosphere of the much-awaited finals was made even more exciting because of the ardent fans and supporters of both Property Zone and Nexus Capital. After a confident display of their batting and bowling skills, Property Zone walked away as the undisputed champions of the ultimate real estate cricket tournament of 2018!
The iconic moment was made special when the members of the team were awarded the cash prize of AED 4000 and individual gold medals by Bayut's Sales Director Fibha Ahmed, and the Assistant Director of Sales, Chris Crawford. The runners-up team of Nexus Capital Real Estate also took home a cash prize of AED 2400 and individual silver medals.
