WHO CAN GET COVID-19 SHOTS AT SEHA VACCINATION CENTRES?
Those interested in receiving a vaccine need to book an appointment at the above-mentioned SEHA centres. The vaccine is available to the following groups without prior booking:
- Residents and senior citizens (60 years and older)
- People of Determination
- People who suffer from chronic illnesses
- Children between the ages of three and 17
- Note that children aged 12 and above can receive the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccination, whereas children aged 3 and above can receive the Sinopharm vaccine.
WHO CAN GET A COVID-19 VACCINATION EXEMPTION?
Vaccination exemptions are available for the following groups.
- COVID-19 patients with active infection
- Participants involved in clinical trials of vaccinations
- Pregnant women
- Those who have experienced serious sensitivity to vaccines or vaccine components in the past.
- Those who have diseases that may be incompatible with the immunisation.
To get an official exemption, you need to get a medical evaluation done at an authorised medical centre in Abu Dhabi.
