How to change the mobile number linked to your Emirates ID
Is your mobile number linked to your Emirates ID? If not, you may face hurdles when accessing government services in the UAE. Normally, an individual’s mobile number is registered during the initiation of the ID application process. However, many Emirates IDs – particularly those belonging to first-timers – are linked to phone numbers of their respective workplace’s HR or of the PRO that was involved. And that needs to be updated if they change employers or want a replacement for their lost Emirates ID.
