Celebrating International Women's Day at Bayut 2020!

On Sunday, 8 March 2020, the UAE and the world celebrated International Women’s Day, an occasion dedicated to recognising the remarkable achievements of women across the globe. On this important day, we also took the opportunity to show our appreciation and support for all the strong women that lead and work at Bayut. A special event was organised for all the women at Bayut, featuring a delicious lunch buffet, a calming meditation session and a special speech from our CEO, Haider Ali Khan. Celebrating International Women’s Day at Bayut in 2020

Bayut wished its employees Happy International Women’s Day with a special event!

The celebrations for Women’s Day at Bayut 2020 took place at One Life Kitchen and Cafe in Dubai Design District on Sunday, 8 March. The lovely ladies of Bayut gathered at the cosy and intimate venue, which featured themed decorations and a lively vibe.

The event for International Women’s Day at Bayut began with a speech delivered by none other than our CEO, Haider Ali Khan. He emphasised the important role of women in both his professional and personal life and expressed his admiration for working women, who undertake and balance enormous responsibilities, both at the workplace as well as at home. His speech appreciating and valuing the contributions of all the women at Bayut was truly a motivation to keep striving and reaching for more success.

Another lovely surprise at this Bayut event was a special video, which interviewed some of the inspiring women who work here. These ladies were asked how they make Bayut a stronger and better place every day, and which of the amazing women at Bayut inspired them the most. Take a look at their responses in the video below!

The video was followed by a relaxing meditation session, led by Yasmine Khattab. Yasmine shared her personal journey, talking about the challenges she faced as a young mother. She then demonstrated controlled breathing techniques, which help to calm the mind and increase positive energy. She emphasised the importance of being present in the moment and showed how these techniques could be practised anywhere, especially before an important meeting or task.

After the rejuvenating meditation session, the ladies tucked into a mouth-watering lunch buffet.

The menu featured delicious quiches, bruschetta, savoury and sweet croissants and granola, along with refreshing juices, coffee and tea.

Each of the attendees also received gift bags and a special mug to commemorate the Women’s Day celebration at Bayut!

We have always been aware of the benefits of gender parity in the workplace, and are proud to have witnessed tremendous growth and success over the last year with such a diverse team.

We have also experienced first-hand the remarkable achievements of the women at Bayut. In 2019, our Director of Marketing, Sahar Khan spearheaded our marketing campaign featuring Chris Hemsworth, which was the biggest and first-of-its-kind for a real estate company in the region. She was also the driving force behind B3DXB 2019, the first-ever and most successful real estate summit in the region. And in March 2020, Sahar Khan won the Storyteller Award for Top Marketing and Communications Executives, by Forbes Middle East!
