The Coolest Real Estate Offices In Dubai
At Bayut, we talk a lot about property - villas, penthouses, apartments, townhouses, floors, plots and even commercial units. And these properties are represented by dedicated, diligent and absolutely delightful real estate agencies who work hard to match the right person with the right unit. So, for people who live and breathe real estate on a daily basis, you would be forgiven for wondering what our offices actually look like!
That's why we're taking you on a tour of some real estate offices in Dubai...and we've saved our favourite one for last!
Kensington exclusive properties
Founded in 2005, Kensington is a franchise partner of a multinational real estate brand and from the looks of it - a fun place to work and play hard.
If the property pros at Kensington need to blow off some steam, they don't need to go much further than their break room, home to table football and hanging chairs...perfect for winding down or taking a quick break. Speaking of breaks, we can't think of a nicer way to enjoy a cup of coffee than by one of the office's floor to ceiling windows, gazing out at an absolutely spectacular view of Business Bay! But one of our favourite things about this office is that as soon as you enter the blue-hued reception area, you see Kensington's many accolades - including one from Dubai Cares for the agency's contribution of AED 160,000 to "Adopt A School" in Gaza. It's fantastic for morale and shows that they do a lot more than provide great service across buying, selling, renting, property management and more.
dacha real estate
Dacha was founded in 2004 at the start of the property boom in Dubai, catering to existing and potential investors alike. Within a year, they realised the interest that the city holds for international investors and rapidly grew their team and achieved such success that they were named the #1 Dubai Agency at the 2006 Millionaire Moscow Property Exhibition.
Dacha prides itself on evolving with the market, displaying an energy that is evident even from their office décor! Their Marina office is filled with brightly coloured motivational signs (we love that they hang from the exposed ceiling rather than being tacked onto walls in kitsch frames) and for those days where you need to let off some steam, an in-office punching bag and dartboard will do the trick! But if you want a little more peace, the pale, brick-walled break room, complete with ghost chairs is a great option…or just gaze out at the gorgeous Marina view!
Espace
At less than a decade old, Espace is a lot more than fantastic levels of customer care and comprehensive knowledge of Dubai’s real estate industry. The first thing that hits you when you walk into their Dubai Marina office is the fact that everything is just so…sleek.
A matte black reception desk, also home to some fresh lucky bamboo, greets visitors while the colour scheme of red and black appears in subtle but noticeable places around the office – from the ergonomic chairs that their stellar staff use to the (and we have to use this word again), sleek leather, chrome and glass meeting room. But it’s not yet another identikit office! Step into the break room and you’ll see that their mission to bring UK estate agency standards to Dubai also had a hand in some interior décor! The room is a riot of energy, with a large vinyl of the London Underground, graffiti that wouldn’t be out of place in Shoreditch and a foosball table.
But one of our favourite parts is that Espace doesn’t use panes or stickers of frosted glass on the meeting room walls to ensure privacy (the way the majority of offices do). Instead, they use the silhouette of our fair city – a testament to their passion for the city’s real estate!
Haus & haus
Located in trendy Al Quoz, boutique-style real estate brokers, haus & haus pride themselves on their dynamic and enthusiastic team that always has clients at their core – something that keeps them in high esteem with both, their new and repeat renters and home buyers alike. However, their success (represented by several awards including those from the Arabian Property Awards and Bayut’s own Agency of the Month gong, displayed on their front desk) is also due to their sheer belief in everything that they do – along with their vast knowledge of the property market!
If there’s one thing that really stands out about haus & haus however, is their personal touch that extends beyond Dubai - these brokers sponsor Shamida, an Ethiopian care centre (get in touch with them if you’d like to help out!). Closer to home, however, the team clearly love a bit of fun and are dedicated to an upbeat company culture, evidenced by their modern office design that features not only by a punching bag and PlayStation but by indie artwork, encouraging sayings and a vibrant, faux living wall.
MJB Properties
Family owned MJB properties is pretty much a Dubai institution in its own right – the company can trace its roots way back to 1925! Therefore, the fact that this agency truly believes in the city and its ethos of going above and beyond is something that runs through the fabric of their day-to-day, resulting in clients that are not only treated to inimitable and high-quality insights into the real estate sector but also enjoy complete satisfaction.
Almost akin to the city it calls home, MJB is a wild and wonderful riot of memorabilia, mementoes, locally sourced artwork, international pieces and more! Spread across an entire floor in Business Bay, we love the fact that the eclectic yet incredibly thoughtful selection of objects fills you with a sense of excitement that’s hard to beat. In fact, sports fans are in luck – one of MJB’s corridors is lined with signed jerseys and kits from some of the world’s best sportsmen!
Better Homes
Better Homes started its life out almost three decades ago as a one-woman band filling a gap in Dubai’s property leasing market. Fast forward to today and the company is nearly 500-strong and have offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and across the GCC! Their success and longevity can be attributed to the fact that throughout its existence, Better Homes has always put people at the heart of what they do – their clients and their staff alike.
Walk into their HQ in Business Bay, (one of their many offices) and you’re instantly put at ease, thanks to the clever use of blue paint – the primary brand colour. Blue is associated with stability, a sense of trust and confidence that tends to have a calming effect…perfect for keeping your wits about you in the fast-paced world of real estate! We are huge fans of the fact that while pink is also part of the Better Homes colour palettes, it’s been used in such sensitive ways (subtle wiring on the ceiling, a small, brightly lit wall) that the entire vibe of the office is sophisticated without being overwhelming. And apart from the gorgeous Burj Khalifa view, we love that the meeting spaces in the agency feel like a contemporary living space, with stylish chairs, picture windows and clean lines - albeit with a conference table!
To make sure that this wasn’t a one-off, we also visited their latest branch in Dubai Marina and can attest that the feeling is definitely the same!
BAYUT
We told you that we saved the best for last!
Having grown rapidly in less than a decade (and having moved into increasingly larger offices over the years), we outgrew our previous space in Internet City in less than two years – in fact, we had to split between two floors!
So we started looking for somewhere where the entire office could not only sit on the same floor but somewhere that reflected our innovative spirit and dynamic attitude to life. Where better than Dubai Design District? We may be slightly biased, but there’s nothing nicer than working in bright, airy and spacious environment with custom-made desks, subtle hints of our Bayut green, industrial exposed ceilings and pops of foliage. The creative and cutting-edge environment is also perfect to keep the team constantly pushing boundaries, to live up to our reputation of being the best website for property search in the UAE.
