Sahar Khan wins the Storyteller Award for Top Marketing and Communications Executives by Forbes Middle East

On Tuesday 3rd March 2020, our visionary Marketing Director, Sahar Khan was awarded the Storyteller Award for Top Marketing and Communications Executives, by Forbes Middle East, an honour which she shared with other renowned marketing professionals in the region.
The event which took place at the stunning outdoor venue of I-kandy Lounge in the Shangri-La Hotel recognised some of the most influential marketing and communications professionals in the Middle East, including notable names from Uber, Google, Twitter and more.

BAYUT’S MARKETING INTITATIVES SPEARHEADED BY SAHAR KHAN
Sahar Khan was awarded this title for spearheading our highly successful campaign featuring Chris Hemsworth as the face of Bayut and other impressive marketing initiatives led by her; including planning and executing the region’s first and most successful PropTech summit, B3DXB.
It also recognised our talented Marketing Director’s efforts towards developing our informative and content-rich platforms, including the region’s most successful real estate and lifestyle blog, MyBayut and the first-of-its-kind detailed content repositories such as the Area Guides, Building Guides and School Guides.
Being a homegrown business, our focus has always been set on creating awareness about all the amazing opportunities that the UAE real estate market presents for tenants, homeowners and investors. This underlying strategy, which Sahar Khan is a passionate advocate of, is reflected in all the content we create.
The storyboarding for our commercial featuring Chris Hemsworth, directed by Robert Stromberg, also highlighted the beautiful blend of modern traditions and a cosmopolitan lifestyle in the UAE, a unique aspect you would rarely experience in other countries around the world.
By bringing these interesting elements to the forefront, Sahar Khan was successful in not just bringing attention to the Bayut brand, but also positioning the UAE as an incredibly welcoming, safe and friendly country, perfect for expats and investors looking at making property investments.
The campaign, which successfully reached more than 7 million potential users in the UAE, and generated a massive number of 121 million impressions overall between September to December 2019, catapulted Bayut to the position of market leaders with the highest traffic in the property classified vertical in the UAE, reaching record-breaking traffic numbers of over 3 million sessions in October 2019.
The MyBayut blog and content guides which are available in Arabic and English, also cater to our multicultural user base. These well-researched content resources help residents of the country, including nationals and expats, to answer any questions they may have, related to property search. Our users can rely on us for all the necessary information pertaining to real estate, whether it’s about moving and finding homes in the UAE through our amazing area and building guides or discovering all about the rules, regulations and tips for navigating life in the city through the MyBayut blog.
Along with supporting our active user base, we also work hard to help our clients and partners in the real estate sector achieve more success. In 2019, we hosted the region’s largest and most successful real estate summit, Bayut Big Broker Event (B3DXB), which brought together close to 1,200 agents from across the city under one roof. At this landmark event, which was conceptualised by Sahar Khan, we also launched top-of-the-line products and features for our clients such as the BayutPro App with revolutionary features like TruCheck™ and SmartLeads™. We also had leaders of the industry engage in moderated panel discussions on how the market is faring.

This award is a testament to the hard work our wonderful marketing team puts in day-in-day-out. The way we have been able to grow so successfully as a creative team, would not have been possible without the efforts of each and every individual in the Marketing department.
