December - the final month of the year; a month of celebration, reflection, and preparation for what has passed and what is yet to come. Following the essence of the final month of the year, the entire Bayut team, along with their loved ones got together at the Raffles Hotel Dubai on 6th December 2018, to celebrate a year of success and recognise the hard work of its top performing employees at the Bayut Awards Gala 2018. The black-tie affair saw the Bayut team from different departments come together, dressed in their best to celebrate Bayut and its journey through the year. The aim of the Bayut Awards Gala 2018 was to enhance the spirit of communication between the Bayut team and foster the spirit of mutual cooperation and innovation. The elegant decor and classic ambience of the Raffles Dubai ballroom was the perfect backdrop for the evening, which began with an opening speech by Haider Ali Khan, CEO of Bayut.com where he highlighted the major achievements of the company and praised all the employee's efforts in gaining customer confidence and enhancing the company's position in the UAE real estate market.

The speech was followed by the award ceremony where 20 well-deserving Bayut employees were recognised for their outstanding efforts during 2018. Once the distribution of the awards was complete, the Bayut Awards Gala 2018 advanced to a sumptuous buffet that featured an array of delectable treats. The night was made even more special with the performance live band that got everyone to put their best foot forward to dance.

BAYUT'S WINS IN 2018

In 2018, Bayut.com received various accolades under its name - the most notable one being their parent company Emerging Markets Property Group (EMPG) raising $50M in their latest round of funding of which $25M will be used to contribute to the growth and expansion of Bayut.com. The other award under the company's belt is the People’s Choice Award For Entrepreneur Of The Year that was awarded to Mr. Khan at the Arabian Business StartUp Awards 2018. He emerged victorious from 11 other finalists with the highest number of public votes, as the most influential and popular entrepreneur in the UAE.

The launch of the first ever Arabic property blog and their already successful English version is another major factor that contributed to the success of the website as it shows the company is dedicated to catering to their entire customer base - both local and expat.

These accolades are a testament to how the property portal is making its mark in the region. Bayut has definitely come a long way from its launch in 2008 - from a startup with just a handful of people, the company has grown to become the leading property portal in the UAE with a team of over 120 employees. Its robust portfolio of properties across all the emirates and information on property trends that equip investors with the right tools to make informed decisions along with their constant drive for innovation is what has led this company to its success.
