BarkPark is located in Al Awir.
Located in Al Awir, BarkPark has plenty of activities for dogs. It has a paddling pool and a vast playground where these your pups and bigger dogs can play. The place also offers many services for dogs to ensure they are happy, relaxed and comfortable.
Story of BarkPark Dubai
BarkPark came about when UAE resident and Scot Jan Al Mheiri asked her husband to donate an area, which was previously used for farming near their home to walk dogs. It soon turned into an official dog-walking facility. Mrs Mheiri, herself is an ardent lover of dogs. She owns two Salukis and a Golden Retriever who are quite precious to her.
Today, many consider it to be one of the best dog parks in Dubai.
Facilities Offered by BarkPark
Dog Grooming Services
BarkPark Dubai offers self-serve dog wash services known as BarkPark Bubbles. The facility allows you to wash your dog yourself using the specialty items offered at the park. From shampoos and conditioners to other accessories and essentials, you ensure your furry friend emerges well-groomed after a session at BarkPark.
- It has built-in restraints to keep a dog in the tub.
- There is a ramp attached to the tub, saving you from the hassle of lifting your pooch.
- A towel, dryer and a handheld shower are also available at the park.
Birthday Bash
You can also celebrate the birthday of your dog at BarkPark. They have large outdoor play areas equipped with toys and special equipment for dogs. Moreover, they also decorate the area and arrange for food, games, and a birthday cake.
Things to Consider
- You must bring your Emirates ID with you when you visit BarkPark
- Ensure your dog is vaccinated for rabies and DHPPL(Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus & Leptospirosis) and free from fleas, ticks and worms
- Make sure your dog is microchipped so you can find them easily, in case they are lost at the park
- Bring proof of your dog’s vaccination to show at the park
- Dogs must remain within the area designated for them
- Dogs exhibiting aggressive behaviour are not allowed at the park
- A maximum of three dogs are allowed at the park
- Leash your dog safely inside the entrance area
- Don’t put prongs, spikes or shock collars on your dog before taking them to the park
- In case of an injury from a dog bite, owners must exchange phone numbers and current tag information with the injured
- Small treats for dogs are allowed. However, owners can’t bring glass containers or food for themselves at the park
- You can let your dog play with balls and toys as long as it doesn’t cause any competition with other dogs
- Sick, injured or pregnant dogs are not allowed at the park
- Muzzles are encouraged for grumpy or small dogs

You need to call or email to make an appointment. The management of the park will show you the park, helping you decide whether you should bring your pup.
How to get to the BarkPark?
You can take Al Khail Road/D68 and D83 and drive to your destination in Al Awir. BarkPark will be on your right.
Similar to this, there is another park soon to open in Dubai. Known as Unleashed, it will be a place to let your dogs loose, allowing them some free time.
