All about the new JLT dog park

ABOUT THE JLT DOG PARK
The Dog Park in JLT has been developed by the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) Authority and spans 475 sq. m. It is located in Cluster H of the Jumeirah Lakes Towers community and provides an exclusive space to let your dog play.
This outdoor space is also great to train your pets and get them used to socialising with other dogs. And the best part is that the gated dog park offers free entry!
The park is specially designed to cater to those living in JLT, but people from all over Dubai can bring their dogs here. JLT Dog Park is certainly among the most popular pet-friendly parks in Dubai.
The dog park has excellent facilities for people and their dogs, such as a shaded seating area, sandpit, open green spaces and a gated off-leash area where you can let your furry friend run without any restrictions.
JLT DOG PARK TIMINGS
The gated dog park is open for public daily from 08:00 am to 09:00 pm, which means that you would have a lot of time to spend with your dog and try out activities to keep them occupied. The park is cleaned during these time periods:
- 09:00 am – 10:00 am
- 04:00 pm – 05:00 pm
- 09:00 pm – 09:30 pm
JLT DOG PARK RULES AND GUIDELINES
To ensure you and your dog enjoy a fun and safe experience, the gated dog park has some rules and guidelines.
- Dog owners must possess a leash at all times inside the park
- Dogs must be on the leash when they are outside the park
- Dogs must be removed from the gated off-leash area if they get aggressive
- Owners or handlers are fully responsible for any damage or injury caused by their dog
- Handlers must be 16 years or older or else they should be escorted by an older chaperone
- Handlers can have a maximum of two dogs
- Handlers are responsible for cleaning up afterwards
- Female dogs in oestrus, puppies under four months and aggressive or sick dogs are not allowed in the park
- Dogs without Dubai Municipality ID tags are also not allowed in the JLT Dog Park – the tags must always be on the dog’s collar
- Food, treats, glass containers, smoking and alcohol is prohibited in the park.
JLT DOG PARK LOCATION
The park is located in Cluster H of the Jumeirah Lakes Towers, alongside the First Al Khail Street. It is only a few minutes away from Sheikh Zayed Road (E11). People living in the apartments in Jumeirah Lakes Towers can easily access the gated dog park.
