The Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival returns to the emirate in February 2020 for its eighteenth edition. ABOUT DUBAI JAZZ FESTIVAL 2020

The 2020 Dubai Jazz Fest is a highly awaited annual event that takes place at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre. For nearly two decades now, the festival has successfully drawn internationally acclaimed artists to perform in Dubai. Popular names like Mariah Carey, John Legend, James Blunt, Macy Gray and Ruby Turner have previously set the stage on fire with epic live performances and some of the greatest hits in the history of music. DAY 1 of the Dubai Jazz Festival: WEDNESDAY, 26 FEBRUARY 2020 – DOORS OPEN AT 06:00 PM

MS. LAURYN HILL

Opening the show on Day One of the Jazz music festival Dubai, is the soul and hip-hop music icon, Ms Lauryn Hill. Winner of five Grammy Awards for her debut solo album, Ms Hill has given us some classic hits like Doo Wop, To Zion and That Thing!

BRUNO MAJOR

Also on the first-day performance line-up for Jazz Festival 2020 is the super-talented R&B and pop artist Bruno Major. The British-born artist has been around in the industry for just over 5 years and is already winning hearts with his performances across the globe.  

DUBAI JAZZ FESTIVAL DAY 2: THURSDAY, 27 FEBRUARY 2020 – DOORS OPEN AT 06:00 PM

LIONEL RICHIE

An absolute gem on the list of Dubai Jazz Festival 2020 artists, the legendary Lionel Richie is all set to croon his way into your hearts with some of his most endearing numbers. Day Two of the Dubai International Jazz Festival 2020 is a winner.

SPYRO GYRA

This jazz fusion band from Buffalo, New York has been around since the 70s, making music with a fresh twist on traditional jazz. Their music intelligently combines the elements of funk, R&B, pop music and jazz, which sets them apart from others in their league.  

JAZZ FEST DUBAI DAY 3: FRIDAY, 28 FEBRUARY 2020 – DOORS OPEN AT 06:00 PM

ONE REPUBLIC

Rising to fame with their song “Apologize,” One Republic has never ceased to entertain the masses. Over the years, this pop-rock band from Colorado, USA has given us some memorable hits like “Counting Stars,” “If I Lose Myself” and “Wanted.”

SAMMY MILLER AND THE CONGREGATION

Spreading joy with their infectious jazz music, Sammy Miller and the Congregation is a seven-member band that guarantees originality and a good time.

There are four categories of Dubai Jazz Festival tickets available for sale. Each category has a single day ticket and 3-day festival passes up for grabs. So, you can plan your visit accordingly.

REGULAR – This is the standing area behind the Golden Circle

GOLDEN CIRCLE – This is the standing area closest to the stage

LOUNGE – This is the sitting area on the boxes and terraces at the amphitheatre

• Single Day: AED 750

VIP – This is the premium lounge with limited seating

So far, these four websites are the only places where you can buy the Dubai Jazz Festival tickets. Tickets would be available at the venue on the day of the event only if they are not sold out.Chances for this are quite high, so it’s ideal to get your Jazz Fest tickets as soon as possible. 

HOW TO REACH DUBAI MEDIA CITY AMPHITHEATRE?

A landmark location in Dubai Media City, the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre is located close to the Media One and Radisson Blu Hotels in the area. The quickest way to reach there is to drive, but parking at the venue can be problematic. The other alternative is to take a cab or use a ride-sharing service. 

You can also get to Dubai Media City Amphitheatre via the metro or the Dubai Tram. Nakheel is the nearest metro station to Dubai Media City Amphitheatre on the Red Line. The closest tram stations are Media City and Mina Seyahi. Once you reach any of these stations, the amphitheatre is approximately a 10-minute walk away.
