KEY INITIATIVES BY ADDC ABU DHABI
TARSHEED
Tarsheed is an initiative focused on water and electricity conservation. The main objective outlined is to reduce consumption by 20% by 2030. For homes, ADDC has launched the initiative to raise awareness about the issue and launched programs that will directly impact conservation efforts.
DIRECT DEBIT IMPROVEMENTS
As a result of this initiative, ADDC gives customers extra days to pay the bill. They have a ten-day grace period, after which the direct debit is deducted from their respective accounts. Customers get a notification of their direct debit amount and the date the direct debit transaction will take place.
If a Direct Debit fails, customers are notified to ensure the funds’ availability in their account within three days.
ISTIMRAR
It is a direct debit service that makes automatic payments for water and electricity bills. Not only is this a fast and secure payment method, but it also decreases the cost of payment collection. It deducts payment automatically from the customer’s bank account after the due date. Customers also have the option to go for a fixed bill service, which essentially calculates the monthly average of the bill.
