It’s an immersive experience that will show visitors the beauty of Earth as it comes to life during the early hours as we welcome a new day.

One of the main purposes of Expo 2020 is to celebrate different cultures and people from around the world. As 192 countries are taking part in this event, visitors can expect to see the cultural beauty of a different nation every day and appreciate all they have to offer.

AWAKENING OF AL WASL
This sunset show should be at the top of your must-see Al Wasl Expo 2020 events. Once the sun goes down, you can see the full potential of Al Wasl Dome. The site will be illuminated with unbelievable laser projections that will relate the stories of the region’s past, present and future.

SALAMA’S SECRET
Visiting Al Wasl Plaza events with your kids? You need not worry about entertaining little ones this time around. Rashid and Latifa, the official mascots of Expo 2020 have you covered! Both adults and kids can go and watch a 20-minute interactive show as the duo battle their evil arch-nemesis. The audience will be entranced as they join them on the quest to save the people around them and our beautiful planet.

OUSHA AND THE MOON
Ousha and the moon, a 10-minute projection show, proves that there are unique things to do at Al Wasl Plaza. This beautiful and creative show re-imagines the life of legendary Emirati poet Ousha bint Khalifa Al Suwaidi. The projection show will make the audience feel as if they’ve entered Ousha’s dreams. They will see her interacting with magical beings and converse with the moon, even though she was born without the power of speech.

Expo Young Stars will start from January and will continue all the way through March 2022. Students from all over UAE will participate in the Stage of the Stars performances at the heart of Expo 2020, Al Wasl Plaza. This event will be completely coordinated by students themselves.
