Launched in 2010, Al Majaz Park is a prominent attraction located in front of Khalid Lake in the Al Majaz district of Sharjah. The park is a complete family destination with an array of entertainment activities. Covering an area of 231,000 sq. ft., Al Majaz Waterfront Park features a mini-golf course, lush green landscapes, jogging and walking tracks, a Splash Park, dining options and so much more. The park recently underwent an AED 100 million renovation project to accommodate more recreational facilities and attractions for visitors.

Mini Golf

Sharjah Musical Fountain

The spectacular Sharjah Fountain in Al Majaz Waterfront is a major attraction in the park. The Al Majaz Park Fountain can propel water up to 100 metres high. The fountain is also fitted with a sound system and laser techniques which create a beautifully choreographed spectacle in the evenings.

Walking and Jogging Track

The walking and jogging tracks in Al Majaz Park are ideal for outdoor fitness activities. Walks here are very relaxing because of the soothing greenery, sweet-smelling flowers, chirping birds and the views of the glistening Khalid Lagoon.

Al Majaz Splash Park

The Al Majaz Splash Park Sharjah is spread across an area of 800 sq. m. Made to cater to kids up to 12 years of age, the shallow aquatic park is the first of its kind in the region. The Splash Park in Al Majaz also offers easy wheelchair access to ensure that every kid gets to enjoy their trip to the park. Alwan Creativity Centre

Alwan Creativity Centre for kids is a place where the young ones can interact with each other and make new friends. It is a go-to place for families who live in the neighbourhood of Al Majaz. At Alwan, children can learn new things and indulge in fun activities including observing art at the handicraft corner, listening to stories, using the computer and enjoying sports in a healthy environment. Kids who are below the age of four are required to be accompanied by a guardian.

Events at Al Majaz Park

Al Majaz Waterfront is considered the main venue for Eid events and other celebrations in Sharjah round the year. The place is a highlight of the Sharjah Light Festival and attracts tourists with various other cultural events and performances hosted at the open-air amphitheater.

Maraya Art Park

The park also houses The Sculpture Park and the Children’s Art Park sections of Maraya Art Park. The Art Park hosts different art exhibitions and displays a large collection of artworks by many internationally recognized artists, designers and architects.

The Tour Train
