Hindu residents will have to travel to Dubai as there is currently no Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi. There are plans to build an upcoming Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi and construction is currently underway. BAPS Hindu Mandir is a reflection of the UAE’s multi-cultural population. The construction is being led by BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha.
