Zone 8 is one of the nine residential zones in Hydra Village, Abu Dhabi. Although the houses in the bigger Hydra Village project consist of 2 to 4-bedroom villas, Zone 8 exclusively offers 2-bedroom villas which are also called D3 Villas. Developed by Hydra Properties, the villa community is close to Al Raha Gardens, Al Shahama and Al Bahia. Since the locality is positioned on the outskirts of Abu Dhabi, residents can easily travel to Dubai via Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Road (E11).

Zone 8 in Hydra Village offers a peaceful ambience to residents. Even though the community is located on the outskirts of the emirate, one can find many facilities within close access. Zone 8 also offers a number of facilities within its periphery. These include:

In addition to these, various supermarkets, schools and mosques are located within close proximity. Residents can conveniently go to Emirates Park Zoo and Resort and Yas Island for leisure.

Properties in Zone 8 include 582 two-bedroom villas. The zone is an extension of other developments of Hydra Village namely Zone 7 and Zone 4. Villas in Zone 8 are constructed with modern designs. All residential units have the same layouts, spanning 1,884.70 sq. ft. The villas boast ceramic flooring, central air conditioning and air-conditioning, modern kitchens and double-glazed windows.

Since Hydra Village is a developing community, for now, residents can hail the bus service from the neighbouring communities. Most of the bus stops near Zone 8 are located at a drive of about 10-minute. Al Sa’ay St / Shuhadah Badar Mosque Bus Stop, Al Maras St / Al Sharrah St Bus Stop and Al Akhyal St / New Shahama Park Bus Stop are a few bus stops near Zone 8, Hydra Village. For public transportation in Zone 8, most residents rely on cab services.

Residents do not need to worry when it comes to grocery shopping. A number of supermarkets, minimarts and baqalas are situated just across the Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Road (E11), accessible in about 10 minutes. These supermarkets near Zone 8, Hydra Village, Abu Dhabi include Baqala Ain Al Madina, Al Shareea Supermarket and Al Hubaishi Grocery. One of the most visited malls in Abu Dhabi, Yas Mall, is 15 minutes away. This upscale shopping centre offers a premium shopping experience to its visitors. The mall also boasts an extensive range of restaurants and VOX Cinemas. Located in Masdar City Abu Dhabi, My City Centre Masdar is another shopping mall where residents can go. It is located at a 20-minute drive from Zone 8, Abu Dhabi.

Dining out is not a problem for Hydra Village residents as there are a number of restaurants near Zone 8. Most eateries are located alongside Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Road (E11) and Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Road (E10), about 10 to 15-minutes away from the community.

To spend a day out at the beach, residents can head to Yas Beach. Here, visitors can spend a relaxing day along the clear blue sea. Zone 8, Hydra Village offers residents a peaceful lifestyle with elegant homes and several amenities. Since the community is in the suburbs of the emirate, residents have to commute to the nearby areas to find malls and hospitals. However, some areas of Hydra Village are still under construction so the residents can expect more retail developments soon.
