Zone 6 is one of the sub-districts of Mohammed Bin Zayed City positioned in the heart of the parent community. COMMUNITY OVERVIEW

Zone 6 is relatively a small neighbourhood in MBZ City with a low population density. The community is well-connected to key areas and landmarks of the city via major roads. Other features of the sub-district include expansive houses and easy access to amenities.

The community offers villas in 3 and 4-bedroom layouts and apartments that are portioned villas in 1 to 4-bedroom layouts. There is a separate hall, majlis, private pool and garden in these villas. Masjid Muhammad Bin Harib and Crown Prince Mosque in Zone 6 facilitate Muslims living in the community. Both mosques are located on the northwestern end of the sub-district.

Burjeel Medical City is a multi-speciality healthcare facility situated 5-minutes away from the community. Other clinics and hospitals near Zone 6 are NMC Royal Family Medical Centre and Bareen International Hospital.

Zone 6 is set amongst the other zones of MBZ City such as Zone 3 and Zone 5 while connected to the rest of the community through a well-developed street network. Mussafah and the Industrial City of Abu Dhabi are located on the west whereas Khalifa City is on the northern side. Shakhbout City and Al Mafraq are other neighbouring areas.

MALLS NEAR ZONE 6

There are two shopping malls in the parent community; Mazyad Mall and Capital Mall. Those looking for shops of high-end street brands can head to Mazyad Mall located 10 minutes away. Popular outlets include Damas, Giordano, Adidas and Sports Gear. The shopping mall also has beauty and healthcare facilities along with several dining options. On the other hand, Capital Mall near Zone 6 is home to an outlet of Lulu Hypermarket so that you can easily stock up on daily essentials. It is also located within a 9-minute drive from the neighbourhood.

RESTAURANTS NEAR ZONE 6

Foodies will have to drive to the neighbouring communities to enjoy dining out at some of the best restaurants near Zone 6. These include:

Although Zone 6 is a bit far from the central city, the well-connected road network facilitates residents if they are planning to visit leisure spots in the city. In a short drive of 15 minutes lie Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque – the epitome of Islamic architecture in Abu Dhabi. It is the largest mosque in the emirate and accommodates 55,000 worshippers at a time. The mosque has 82 domes, the world’s largest hand-knit carpet and 24-carat gold chandeliers.

Within a 20-minute drive lies Mangrove National Park where animals belonging to 60 different species have been kept. These include sea creatures, turtles, bird species and marine mammals. The leisure spot is protected by the Environment Agency Abu Dhabi (EAD).

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES, FITNESS AND BEAUTY

There is a small community park in Zone 6 located next to Al Shireen Street. It has a children’s play area as well. Other parks nearby are MBZ Public Park and Mussafah Garden.

Fitness enthusiasts can keep up with their workout sessions in gyms near Zone 6. These include Body Care Gym & Fitness and Tiger Gym. Both the facilities are situated within an 8 to 10-minute drive.
