Zone 19, Mohammed Bin Zayed City

Zone 19, also called Z19 is a mixed-use sub-community within the greater district of Mohammed Bin Zayed City (MBZ City). It is located adjacent to the Musaffah community beside Al Rawdah Road (E30). One will find a variety of residential towers and villas in Zone 19. Connectivity of the major UAE highways including Al Ain Road (E22) and Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan International Road (E11) is one of the highlighted features and perks of living in the community.

Zone 19 is bordered by Al Anwar St., Naseem Al Barr St., Al Rayat St. and Al Qa-id St. There are multiple bus stops along these streets which are within a walk of a few minutes.

Supermarkets near Zone 19 include Al Ghabat City Supermarket, which is just a 4-minutes drive away. This is a small community shop, which stocks basic necessities. New Metro Supermarket is another small community grocery store that can be reached in 5-minutes. LuLu Express, inside Mazyad Mall, can be reached under 11-minutes. This department store carries a variety of food items and FMCGs.

Zone 19 is home to two grand mosques, Mubarak Bin Sumaida Mosque and Shaikha Obaid Rashed Al Shamsi Mosque. Both of these mosques are easily accessible by foot. Mubarak Bin Sumaida Mosque can accommodate around 80 to 100 worshippers. Other nearby mosques include Open Mosque (Amina Saeed Al Kalbani Masjid), Mosque Mohamed bin Nasser Al Kalbani and Masjid Of Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak. All these mosques are located within a 10-minute driving radius of Zone 19.

Beaches near Zone 19 will take about 20-minutes to reach. This is because Zone 19 is situated on the outskirts of Abu Dhabi. The closest public beach is Al Bateen Beach, which can be reached in 24-minutes. Here, residents can choose to swim, fish, go kayaking and even rent a jet ski.

One of the best beaches in Abu Dhabi, Yas Beach at a distance of half an hour. This beach is an upscale resort with pools and various water sports activities. It is a must-visit for those who are looking for more than a refreshing swim.

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is the third largest mosque in the world. One unique fact about this mosque is that non-Muslims can visit it too. One can reach Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in 17-minutes. Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is a Ferrari-themed amusement park that has several high-speed roller coasters. This is the perfect place to have fun for both adults and children. One can reach Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is almost half an hour away. Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi is a waterpark with several adrenaline-fuelled rides where children and adults can have a good time. It is located beside Ferrari World.

Although there are no specific community events organized for Zone 19, residents can partake in events held in the greater community of MBZ City. Residents can visit the Mazyad Mall, which is located within the greater community. Events on certain occasions such as Eid, National Day, Diwali and Ramadan are regularly organised at this mall.

Living in Zone 19 is full of convenience. It is an ideal location for families with several Parks, Supermarkets and Malls just a short distance away. However, the lack of variety in public transportation within the community could be problematic for those who have to regularly commute to the main Abu Dhabi City.
