Umm Al Quwain Marina is a small community located on the outskirts of Umm Al Quwain (UAQ). The emirate holds areas of significant archaeological interest. Two ancient cities, Tell Abraq and Ed-Dur, were discovered in Umm Al Quwain making the sites the largest archaeological discovery in the city.

The nearest mosque is Abdullah Rashed Hilal Mosque. This mosque near Umm Al Quwain Marina is a 10-minute drive away. Muslim residents can also visit Aisha Alkubaisi Mosque, Saqer Al Qassimy Mosque and a few other mosques in the Al Ramlah area.

Our Lady of Arabia Catholic Church near Umm Al Quwain Marina is a 14-minute drive away from the area. Otherwise, residents will have to travel to the industrial areas of Ras Al Khaimah, close to the border shared with UAQ, roughly 30 minutes away. Hindu and Sikh places of worship will be found in the Al Fahidi area in Dubai, reachable in over an hour by car.

The International School of Choueifat is the only school in Umm Al Quwain Marina. It follows the SABIS (UK/US) curriculum. There are multiple schooling options in nearby areas. Sharjah American International School and The Elite American Private School are located in Al Salamah. Both are a 9-minute drive away from Umm Al Quwain Marina.

University options are found further away in the main part of UAQ. Emirates Canadian University College and British Applied College are 25 minutes away.

To avail medical assistance, residents can reach out to clinics or hospitals near Umm Al Quwain Marina. Most residents prefer to travel to Al Salamah as the area hosts a state-of-the-art hospital – Sheikh Khalifa General Hospital opposite the Ministry of Social Affairs. The medical facility is a 9-minute drive away from UAQ Marina.

Al Hayat Medical Center, Dr Sunny Medical Centre and KRIPA Medical Centre are the closest medical centres. They can all be reached in 12 to 18 minutes.

Al Salamah is the closest area to Umm Al Quwain Marina. It takes 20 minutes to reach the northern areas of Umm Al Quwain such as Al Raas and Al Humrah.

Most malls near Umm Al Quwain can be spotted in Al Salamah. City Mall is an 8-minute drive away from the area. It is a large mall and is mainly known for the Lulu Xpress Freshmarket is houses.

Café Barbera is the only coffee shop in the area, but for all the people who love to dine out regularly, there are many restaurants near Umm Al Quwain Marina. Winners Cafeteria and Restaurant, X Pizza, Ybala Shabi Restaurant are popular restaurants located 10 minutes away.

There are two popular beaches near Umm Al Quwain Marina. Khor Al Beidah is a tidal wetland that is home to several specials of crabs, molluscs and wintering shorebirds. The second is Mangrove Beach which allows visitors to experience serene waters. You can enjoy paddling/kayaking adventures in the shallow waters of the mangroves.

The residents of UAQ Marina can enjoy visiting the UAQ National Museum. The museum uncovers the history of the city. You can enjoy the old buildings, jewellery, cannons, and much more in it.  UAQ National Museum is a 22-minute drive from Umm Al Quwain Marina.

For outdoor activities, Umm Al Quwain residents can visit the two parks in the community itself. There is even a communal swimming pool for residents to use.

Fitness and beauty options are located in the neighbouring area of Al Salamah. VIP Training Fitness is an 8-minute drive from the area while Salamah Saloon lies in the same area.

Moving to Umm Al Quwain Marina is recommended to those who are looking for affordable rental options in a developing area. The community is far away from the main part of UAQ and residents will have to drive outside of the community to access mosques, supermarkets, etc.
