Public Transportation in The Lakes
The community has its bus stop called, The Lakes Turnoff Bus Stop, located on First Al Khail Street (D86). Residents of Ghadeer can access the bus station on foot in a few minutes, however, residents living in distant areas might need to drive. The bus station is serviced by F31 Bus.

Several mosques near The Lakes are located a few minutes away from the community. Tiffany Mosque and AlWahab Masjid are two of the nearest mosques about 10 minutes away. Located in Dubai Marina, Al Rahim Mosque is only 9 minutes from the neighbourhood. It is one of the most beautiful mosques in Dubai built with Islamic architecture that features exterior and interior appeal to both tourists and residents who visit the mosque.

A campus of Jumeirah International Nursery Dubai, JINS Regent, The Greens is a part of the Emirates Living community. It is located within the campus of Regent International School. Open from 07:00 am to 06:00 pm, the nursery caters for kids aged 45 days to 3 years.
Regent International School educates children aged 3 to 18. Known for its excellent educational and co-curricular facilities, it follows the National Curriculum of England. Residents of Hattan 3 and Ghadeer can easily go to this school on foot.
