GEMS Founders School in the well-planned neighbourhood of Al Barsha was launched in 2016. It is an affordable school in the vicinity taking students from the Foundation Stage to Grade 6. Likewise, Brilliant International Private School is one of the best English schools in Sharjah. They offer the British curriculum.

For toddlers, there are some of the popular nurseries nearby. Creative Nest Nursery, British Orchard Nursery and Desert Roses Nursery are about a half-hour drive.

Being an inland area, there are no beaches in Garden City Sharjah. One has to travel for a whole 45 minutes to get to Dubai’s popular beaches. One popular option is Jumeirah Public Beach. Garden City Sharjah is fairly a new community and has its perks. The area is quite serene offering a peaceful environment to its residents. The properties are spacious with numerous facilities. However, the infrastructure is still developing and most amenities are a bit far. Also, the area has limited access to public transportation so one has to rely on their cars to move around.
