RAK Central, Ras Al Khaimah

RAK Central is an upcoming development in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) with a mix of residential and commercial plots. When completed, there will be clusters of residential buildings, hotels, office spaces and retail areas. Developed by Marjan Properties, the project is set to provide modern living spaces at a prime location, with an estimated handover by the end of 2027.

RAK Central is a large-scale development planned in Ras Al Khaimah designed to transform a 3.1 million sq. ft. plot of land into a dynamic Central Business District (CBD). Located near Al Marjan Island and Al Hamra Village, it intends to merge work, living and leisure in a well-connected environment. The mixed-use development will feature office buildings, retail outlets, food and beverage establishments, business hotels and residential units. There will be pedestrian-friendly streets and open spaces in the development.

RAK Central will also provide easy access to essential amenities and services with easy access to resorts, shopping centres and leisure attractions. One Central is one of the new projects in RAK Central featuring several amenities such as covered parking, elevators, 24-hour security, a rooftop pool, a cinema and a fully equipped gym.

Spread across a 3.1 million sq. ft. plot of land, RAK Central will be developed in multiple phases. The initial phase will feature the construction of 1 million sq. ft. of commercial office space and additional plots designated for development.

It will also include 34 exclusive residential plots where developers can construct residential towers reaching up to 45 floors or approximately 200m in height. A key component of the first phase will be Marjan’s headquarters and an integrated mixed-use office complex designed by Gensler, a globally recognized architecture, design and planning firm.

Upon full completion, RAK Central will encompass over 4,000 residential apartments, three hotels with a combined capacity exceeding 1,000 keys, multiple parks and green spaces and a range of retail and entertainment facilities. Additionally, the development will feature interconnected buildings and more than 1,000 parking spaces.

Properties in RAK Central will include a mix of residential and commercial ones. Buyers can choose from 24 off-plan residential plots in RAK Central, 6 commercial plots and plots for hotels and retail spaces. 

The residential plots will feature clusters of two to six buildings with studios, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments. These residential units will offer modern living spaces. With ample open spaces and green areas, RAK Central will emphasise sustainability, incorporating green building technologies and energy-efficient systems. The development will also include well-planned road networks and transportation infrastructure to ensure smooth connectivity both within the community and to surrounding areas.
