Port Saeed is a locality in one of Dubai’s oldest district, Deira. Occupying a prime location, Deira shares borders with Sharjah, the Arabian Gulf and the Dubai Creek in addition to offering amazing water views. It is the oldest commercial district and is home to many cultural attractions of the UAE.

The port established by Saeed Ahmed Lootah is named after an Egyptian city destroyed during the Suez Crisis in the Anglo-French invasion. Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club occupies most of the port. This club has an 18-hole golf course, several villas, a marina, a creek-side restaurant and parks.

Port Saeed is considered important in Dubai’s trading history. The locality is home to some of the oldest offices, retail centres and government buildings. It also has Heritage House and Al Ahmadiya School. Moreover, residents of Port Saeed enjoy the vibrant culture and popular tourist spots at a hand’s length.

Port Saeed is majorly commercial while it also has some residential properties. There are fewer villas as compared to apartments in the community.

The area is filled with landscaped gardens and parks. The newest addition to the area, Port Saeed Plaza Park is a key outdoor attraction. It is accessible via Sheikh Zayed Road from most parts of the vicinity. This park has a garden, playground and jogging track. Residents also prefer to visit the following:
