Nad Shamma

Nad Shamma is a small neighbourhood located on the southern side of Dubai International Airport. The residential district offers villas and townhouses in unique layouts. The area is bordered by Umm Ramool on the east, Mirdif to the west, Al Rashidiya on the north and Nad Al Hamar to the south. Nad Shamma is bounded by major streets providing easy accessibility to key areas. The area ensures quick access to mosques, schools, community parks and grocery stores.

Nad Al Shamma is connected to the central city via Nad Al Hamar Road and Rebat Street. The neighbouring residential communities include Nad Al Hammar, Umm Ramool, Mirdif and Al Rashidiya. Other nearby areas are Al Garhoud and Dubai Festival City.

Al Rashidiya Hub is the community mall in the neighbouring area home to several retail outlets and convenience stores. It will take a 5-minute drive to reach the mall. For a full-fledged shopping experience, residents can head to Dubai Festival City Mall. Managed by the renowned Al Futtaim group, the shopping mall features over 400 stores of international and local brands. The mall also has several restaurants and cafés, a bowling alley and an 18-screen cinema. It is one of the popular malls in Dubai located an 8-minute drive.

Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary is a perfect place for those who love nature and animals. It is home to numerous fishes, reptiles, mammals, crustaceans and birds. While the sanctuary is known for the flamingos, you can spot osprey, reef herons, black-winged stilts and horned vipers among other species. It is located in the Ras Al Khor area, at a 12-minute drive by car.

Nad Shamma Park is the key feature of the residential area. It is situated on the western side and is home to several amenities. There is a football field, dedicated tracks for walking and a kid's play area.

300 Glory Sports in Nad Shamma is the only gym in the area. It has state-of-the-art equipment for different exercises. Fitness enthusiasts can choose personal trainers to learn martial arts. Other gyms nearby are Al Raisi Gym and World Gym.
