Dubai Schools Nad Al Sheba is a new addition to an array of educational institutes in the community. It offers US curriculum education to students till Grade 5. Those interested in British schools will find Kings School Nad Al Sheba that offers education till Year 13. Repton School Dubai is another high-end school in the community that offers British and IB curricular options to high school students. Other schools in Nad Al Sheba are Fifth Dimension Elementary School and GEMS World Academy.

Many higher education options such as The American University in the Emirates and Al Ghurair University are accessible within a 20-minute drive.

Nad Al Sheba Health Centre is the nearest option for residents looking for hospitals in Nad Al Sheba. It is considered one of the top govt. hospital in Dubai offering quality heathcare to patients. Fakeeh University Hospital in DSO is 17 minutes away. Other options include The American Hospital Dubai in Oud Metha and Mediclinic City Hospital both of which are roughly 15-minutes away.

Nad Al Sheba location is towards the eastern end of Dubai near the emirate of Sharjah. There are a few upcoming projects by Nakheel in Nad Al Sheba 3 and by multiple developers in Nad Al Sheba 1. Nad Al Sheba 1 is located close to Al Quoz and the new Meydan City area. Nad Al Sheba 2 and 3 are close to Ras Al Khor and International City. Nad Al Sheba 4 is located above Dubai Silicon Oasis and Academic City. When complete, Meydan South will also be easy to access from Nad Al Sheba 4.

Avenue Mall in Nad Al Sheba is a popular option among residents. Here they can find many local and internal brands, hypermarkets like Carrefour and dining options like Shakespear and co.

Nad Al Sheba Mall by Nakheel Properties is under construction. Once constructed, it will have around 200 shops, restaurants and entertainment outlets.

Residents can also visit the Dubai Festival City Mall which is home to the only IKEA furniture store and Robinson’s department store in Dubai. The mall is also home to many entertainment options such as Novo Cinemas, a Fabyland amusement centre and IMAGINE – a dancing water fountain and light show. Dubai Festival City Mall is under 15 minutes from the mall. There is also a large branch of Hard Rock Cafe outside the mall.

The world-famous Dubai Mall is also close by, it has many different retail, dining and entertainment options. Dubai Mall is 16-minutes away.

Most of Nad Al Sheba’s restaurants are found in the Meydan Hotel. Farriers, Prime Steakhouse and Shiba Restaurant and Bar are popular options. The Track Restaurant is a fine-dining option that is connected to the Meydan golf course.

More casual restaurants include Healthy Bowl, Zero Four Speciality Coffee and Al Ain Way Restaurant. Fast food outlets such as KFC and Pizza Hut are also present at the EPPCO Petrol Station near Nad Al Sheba.

Nightlife destinations are also found in Meydan. White Dubai, Stage Dubai, Soho Beach, Qube Sports Bar and Drai’s are popular clubs and bars near the Meydan Hotel.

It is easy to reach the beautiful sandy beaches of Dubai from Nad Al Sheba. The much-talked-about Jumeirah Beach is almost 23-minutes away from the area. For kitesurfers, there is no other place like Kite Beach. It is a massive white sandy stretch and it takes about 30-minutes to reach there.

Golf enthusiasts can head over to The Track, Meydan Golf near Meydan Hotel in Nad Al Sheba 1. It is a 9-hole course which contains many grassy areas and a total of six lakes. The course also offers the facility of night golfing.

People who enjoy watching purebred horses would like to visit Meydan Racecourse inside the district. Formerly known as Nad Al Sheba Racecourse, the landmark was built back in 1986 and refurbished in 2010 under its new name. It now hosts the prestigious Dubai World Cup. The Dubai World Cup is currently the world’s richest horse race for thoroughbred breeding. It is also known for its style stakes where it rewards its most fashionably dressed attendees.

This area is also home to the palace of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai.

The vicinity features four parks. Residents can also visit the Nad Al Sheba Cycle Park which is equipped with air-conditioned changing rooms, showers and lockers.

Fitness enthusiasts can choose from many gyms located on the premises. Fitness4Life Premier, Body Pulse 20, Elevation Fitness, Fitness Together, Fitness Style Gym and Body Talk Gym are just a few of the many gyms that are near Nad Al Sheba.

In terms of salons and spas, residents can find Blush and Brush Beauty Boutique for women. Men can head to Vincia Men’s Salon and Mash Gents Salon.

Apart from the racecourse, golf course and cycle park, Nad Al Sheba periodically hosts Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament featuring a mix of athletics and track events. The community also awaits the Dubai World Cup, as it is an annual event with high stakes for both equestrian sports and fashion enthusiasts.

Nad Al Sheba Mall is the upcoming attraction in the area. It will cover over 1.2 million sq. ft. with 200 retail shops, F&B outlets, fitness centres, multi-screen cinemas, supermarkets and rooftop seating area.

It is not solely a residential area and it can get slightly noisy and crowded especially during the time of the Dubai World Cup. Also, metro stations are far from the community. However, taxis and bus stops are readily available.

Nad Al Sheba location is in Southern Dubai and surrounded by International City and Dubai Silicon Oasis.
