Options for public transportation near Khalifa Park are limited. However, the system is being improved at a fast pace. You can get to the area via Bus – 56 that shuttles at nearby stations. These bus stops include National Sports Authority, at a 15-minute walking distance and Khalifa Park Station about a 13-minute walk away.

Similarly, parking spaces in Khalifa Park are plenty. Besides dedicated spaces in villas and apartment buildings, one can find a spot in the public parking area. Nearly 7,000 spots have been recently added to the park’s parking lot. Hence, visitors and guests can also easily park their cars nearby.

SUPERMARKETS NEAR KHALIFA PARK

There are plenty of options for grocery shopping nearby. Metro Mart, Yum – Your Urban Market and Swiss Mart are some supermarkets near Khalifa Park, all less than 5 minutes away. Also, one can find the more popular Carrefour Hypermarket on Airport Road, Waitrose on Dhafeer Street and Souq Planet less than 10 minutes away from the community.

MOSQUES NEAR KHALIFA PARK

The area has a dedicated hall for worshippers named as Khalifa Park Mosque. Besides, residents can go to other mosques near Khalifa Park such as Ali Salem Al Kaabi Mosque, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Mosque and Masjid Qaryat Al Maqtaa. The biggest and most beautiful mosque in the Middle East, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre is also only 6 minutes away. Residents prefer to visit this grand mosque for Friday and Eid prayers.

OTHER PLACES OF WORSHIP NEAR KHALIFA PARK

The Christian community can find a few churches near Khalifa Park, such as St. Joseph’s Cathedral, St. Andrew’s Church and St. Paul’s Church in Musaffah. All these options are about 15 minutes away.

There are no temples near Khalifa Park. But one can visit the new Gurudwara being built near Mussafah.

Moreover, Khalifa University SAN Campus is only 11 minutes away. It has specialised departments for engineering, research, medicine and arts.
