Salam Street or the extended Eastern Road has great importance in Abu Dhabi. Besides housing many international embassies and being close to Sheikh Zayed Mosque, it has beach resorts, 5-star hotels, residential properties and one of the best public parks in Abu Dhabi, Khalifa Park. The area has a dedicated hall for worshippers named as Khalifa Park Mosque. Besides, residents can go to other mosques near Khalifa Park such as Ali Salem Al Kaabi Mosque, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Mosque and Masjid Qaryat Al Maqtaa. The biggest and most beautiful mosque in the Middle East, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre is also only 6 minutes away. Residents prefer to visit this grand mosque for Friday and Eid prayers.

The Christian community can find a few churches near Khalifa Park, such as St. Joseph’s Cathedral, St. Andrew’s Church and St. Paul’s Church in Musaffah. All these options are about 15 minutes away.

There are no temples near Khalifa Park. But one can visit the new Gurudwara being built near Mussafah.
