COMMUNITY OVERVIEW

Jumeirah Village Triangle (JVT) is a residential community offering villas, apartments and townhouses amidst landscaped gardens. The villas come in both semi-attached and detached types. Also, JVT consistently ranks as one of the best family-oriented communities in Dubai.

The community has various districts, which are further divided into micro-districts or sub-communities. Amongst these, District 2D is a sub-community of District 2.

Popular points of interest in District 2D are:

Most of the villas are completed and available on a freehold basis. The district is enveloped by Tulip Street and Al Azhar Street, from where residents can travel to the neighbouring areas via Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311).

PROPERTIES IN DISTRICT 2D

Properties in District 2D include 20 detached villas including 2-bedroom villas and expansive 5-bed villas. 2-bedroom villas cover floor areas between 2,600 sq. ft. and 2,900 sq. ft., while 5-bedroom villas cover up to 6,740 sq. ft.

HOTELS IN DISTRICT 2D

Currently under development, Terhab Hotel & Towers will feature the only hotel in JVT, namely Grand Mercure Hotel. Moreover, the multi-building complex will consist of The Adagio Hotel Apartments JVT. The project has been launched by Manazel Real Estate in 2016 and will boast of two hotels, operating under Accor Hotels.

For other hotels near District 2D, JVT, residents can drive outside the community. Some of the nearby hotels are:

TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING IN DISTRICT 2D

Every villa comes with its own garage, which can accommodate up to two cars at a time. For more vehicles or guest parking, one can utilise spaces on the streets.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION NEAR DISTRICT 2D 

Since JVT is a gated residential community, means of public transportation near District 2D are not available within the community. Instead, residents will have to take Tulip Street, Orchid Street or Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) for accessing the nearby bus stations or the Dubai Metro. However, residents can use RTA taxis and car-hailing services such as Careem and Uber.

Bus stops and bus stations near District 2D are available in the neighbouring communities, such as Springs, Jumeirah Park, The Meadows, Discovery Gardens and Jumeirah Village Circle. By driving up to 10 minutes you can reach The Springs, Entrance Gate 3 Bus Stop; The Meadows, Dubai British School; Discovery Garden 9 Bus Stop as well as DMCC Metro Station Landside.

From Garm Al Sabkha Street (D59), it takes around 10 minutes to reach DMCC Metro Station, Jumeirah Lake Towers Metro Station and DAMAC Properties Metro Station. You can reach more metro stations near District 2D by taking a 10-minute drive through Yalayis Street / Jebel Ali – Al Hibab Road (D57), such as; Energy Metro Station and Jebel Ali Metro Station.

SUPERMARKETS NEAR DISTRICT 2D 

Within Jumeirah Village Triangle, you will find many grocery stores and smaller supermarkets that are helpful in fulfilling your basic grocery shopping.

Danat Express, ZOOM and F Mart Supermarket are located at walking distance within District 2, JVT. ZOOM is a popular chain of convenience stores in the UAE, with more than 235 outlets all over. You can head over to this renowned store, which ranks as one of the best supermarkets in Dubai. Danat Express is one of the smaller supermarkets in Jumeirah Village Triangle.

F Mart Supermarket is a relatively new supermarket in the community, stocking up all essentials from food to non-food items. You can also purchase fresh produce and hot food here, along with coffee and freshly baked baguettes.

Triangle Supermarket and Safestway Supermarket are reachable within an 8-minute drive within Jumeirah Village Triangle. Triangle Supermarket has a vast range of products, including electrics too. Safestway Supermarket runs under the West Zone Groups and is popular stocking up Filipino products.

MOSQUES NEAR DISTRICT 2D

The community mosque is located on Joory Street within walking distance. You can find more mosques near District 2D located outside the community, including:

OTHER PLACES OF WORSHIP NEAR DISTRICT 2D

For the Sikh community, Guru Nanak Darbar is located at a 9-minute drive in the Jebel Ali area. It is the largest Gurudwara in the Gulf region and hosts monthly and annual festivals throughout.

Hindus can find temples in the city by driving around 33 minutes towards Bur Dubai. There are three temples in Bur Dubai, which include Shiva Temple, Shree Krishna Haveli and Shiridi Sai Baba Mandir.

Residents can avail different kinds of educational facilities for their young ones through schools near District 2D such as:

Within Jumeirah Village Triangle, you will find Arcadia School and Sunmarke School, both of which are reachable within a drive of 6 minutes.

The Arcadia Preparatory School or the Arcadia School offers classes up to Year 7 and follows the National Curriculum of England. Established in 2014, it has more than 550 students in its enrolment.

Part of the Fortes Education Group, Sunmarke School is a private co-ed school that offers education for students aged from 3 to 18 and teaches the National Curriculum of the United Kingdom.

Dubai British School and Emirates International School are 10 minutes away. Dubai British School is a project of Taleem Foundation where students can opt for International General Certificate of Secondary Examination (IGCSE) and A Levels.

Emirates International School – Meadows offers education from the early years to Year 13 and offers International Baccalaureate Continuum programmes. It has around 1,800 students in its enrollment.

JSS International School is in Jumeirah Village Circle at a 13-minute drive. Established in 2009 by JSS Mahavidyapeetha (JSSMVP), it is a private co-ed school that follows the curriculum of the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE).

Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC) is right adjacent to Jumeirah Village Triangle, which is also a project of Nakheel Properties and boasts of a similar village-like infrastructure. It was after the success of JVC that Nakheel launched Jumeirah Village Triangle.
