District 1D, JVT

District 1 is one of the nine districts in the Jumeirah Village Triangle (JVT). It is an ideal project of Nakheel Properties, master-planned in the centre of the city and wedged between Al Khail Road (E44) and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311).

Each district in the area has several blocks and is home to residential villas. Block D in District 1 is one such, featuring luxurious villas and several amenities close by.

Public transportation near District 1D is a bit difficult to track down if you are travelling on foot. One can reach the Discovery Garden 9 bus stop in just 9-minutes worth of driving.

The nearest supermarket from the block is Danat Express Supermarket in JVT, worth a 3-minutes drive. Another is F Mart Supermarket also covers the same distance.

Samad Mosque in The Springs community and JVT Mosque are both situated at a 5-minute distance via car. Masjid Wahid is another grand Mosque, located 9-minutes away.

Churches near District 1D are within a 9 to 11-minute drive in Jebel Ali Village where you will find some of the best churches in Dubai. Some notable ones include St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and Christ Church Jebel Ali.

Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara is a Sikh temple which is not far from the area, covering a driving distance of only 9-minutes. Hindu Temple in Jebel Ali is located within the same driving distance and it’s the nearest temple to facilitate the Hindu community.

Emirates Hills and its many communities such as The Springs, The Meadows and The Greens are situated towards the northern end of JVT.

For a glowing tan and a variety of activities such as surfing, paddle boarding and volleyball one can visit the kite beach, located at a 21-minute drive.
