Al Ramlah is a residential area located in Umm Al Quwain. By far, it is the least populated of the seven emirates. The area is divided into three sub-communities named Al Ramlah A, Al Ramlah B and Al Ramlah C.
Al Ramlah B and C are residential communities mostly consisting of villas, however, there are a few apartments are found the areas as well. There are no residential properties in Al Ramlah A as of now. Bordering Falaj Al Muwalla and Al Salamah, the neighbourhood is just a few minutes away from several prime areas of the city.
Centrally located in the Umm Al Quwain city, Al Ramlah is a suburban area that houses numerous villas and apartments. Connectivity with the rest of the areas is a discerning feature of the neighbourhood. Residents can find most facilities within the proximity of the locality.
Properties in Al Ramlah predominantly consist of villas and feature a few apartments. The villas mostly come in the configuration of 2 and 3-bedroom, but there are a few 4-bedroom ones available in the area as well. These are built with elegant finishes consisting of fitted wardrobes, contemporary kitchen and modern bathrooms.
The villas for rent in the area quite affordable. 2-bedroom villas in Al Ramlah are priced at around AED 28k per annum.
Just like villas, apartments in Al Ramlah also consist of 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom layouts. You can rent apartments in Al Ramlah. The rentals of 1-bedroom flats start from AED 17k per annum.

Not many options are available when it comes to transportation in Al Ramlah, residents usually rely on taxis to get around in the Emirate. However, having your own vehicle to commute is unarguably a better option.
There are a few supermarkets in Al Ramlah, enough to fulfil the daily shopping needs of residents.
You can head to Al Ramlah Supermarket near Al Asal Pharmacy. Enma Al Madina, a large supermarket, offers a large variety of products and grocery items. Many other small grocery stores are spread all over the community.
There are plenty of mosques in Al Ramlah. Some well-known mosques in the area include Masjid-e-Aisha, Salman Farsi Mosque and Mosque – Al Salamah.
You can find some churches near Al Ramlah. Our Lady Of Arabia Church in Industrial Area is an 8-minute drive. Church Center on the coastline in the Old Town area can also be reached after driving for 13 minutes.
Hindu residents will have to visit the emirate of Sharjah to find a Hindu temple. It is home to India Sangatadham Gigaso which is a 28-minute drive away from Al Ramlah.
For toddlers, nurseries nearby include Apple Tree Nursery, Oxford Nursery, Butterflies Nursery and Al Dana Nursery UAQ.
There are many well-known schools near Al Ramlah. Sharjah American International School is located at a 7-minute drive and offers American Curriculum while, The International School of Choueifat is another popular school in Al Humrah community, just 17 minutes away via car.
The closest medical facility is New Al Khaleej Medical Center, available within a 4-minute drive. The other two hospitals near Al Ramlah include Sheikh Khalifa General Hospital and Al Salamah Healthcare Center both in Al Salamah community at a maximum drive of 8 minutes from the area.
Al Ramlah is one of many communities in Umm Al Quwain. Geographically, it is located in the centre of the emirate and neighbours prominent areas such as Al Salamah, Al Ahad, Defence Camp and Falaj al Muwalla.
One of the famous malls in the Emirate, Mall of UAQ is at a distance of roughly 8 minutes away from the locality. City Mall is another shopping mall in Salamah 3. The shopping centre features many pharmacies and the famous Lulu supermarket.
When it comes to choosing dine-out options, residents can find an abundance of restaurants near Al Ramlah. Some good options are Sikkat Beirut – an all you can eat buffet, My Burger – a popular burger chain and Das Brauhaus Umm Al Quwain – a casual outdoor seating restaurant with pleasant ambience. All these restaurants are at a drive of fewer than eight minutes.
Other restaurants within the proximity of the area include Al Ayaam Restaurant & Grilling, Farrouj Hut, Mev Bakes and Thai Junior.
One of the beaches near Al Ramlah is Al Hamriyah Public Beach, an 8-minute drive via car. With a rocky jet, this sandy beach is popular for swimming and for a children’s playground. If you are looking for an uncrowded beach with a calm environment, you can head to Umm Al Quwain Beach, an exquisite beach in the northern part of the city. It is just 15-minutes away from Al Ramlah.
To break the boredom, you can visit UAQ Marina Club, a leisure spot located along the coastline of the sea. It has a large stable of horses and offers riding lessons with qualified instructors.
Dreamland Aqua Park, the world’s largest aqua park, is also located at a drive of 18 minutes. It offers activities like water polo, beach volley and overnight camping. Numerous food stalls restaurants and snake bars are also available there. Residents can also visit UAQ National Museum, a 13-minute drive from Al Ramlah.
Al Ramlah is a small community and therefore, there are no parks within the premises of the neighbourhood. However, residents can find H.H. Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Park after a short drive of eight minutes. It is a family park with rides for kids. Other popular parks near Al Ramlah include National Flag, Al Hamriyh East Community Park and Al Hamriyah West District Park.
There are a few well-equipped gyms near Al Ramlah. Miami is a health club that takes 8 minutes to reach via car. Ladies Fitness and Massage is another notable option, 9-minute drive away. VIP Training Fitness is located at a drive of nine minutes.
Many salons are also located close to the locality. LaPerla Beauty is 6 minutes away via car. Salon Sheikha also takes a 6-minute drive to reach. One can also access Casa Ala Bella which is located at a drive of seven minutes.
Presently, Umm Al Quwain doesn’t have any bus service, the need for public transportation is met by taxis which frequently pass on the roads of Al Ramlah. However, if you are planning to reside in this sub-community, having your own transport is always a convenient option.
