Al Quoz is a rectangular stretch of land between Sheikh Zayed Road (E11) and Al Khail Road (E44) in western Dubai. Al Quoz spans 27.1 sq. km. and is divided into two main areas: a residential section in the northeast and an industrial zone in the southwest, each consists four sub-communities. The commercial sector is known as the Al Quoz Industrial Area categorised into Al Quoz Industrial Areas 1, 2, 3 and 4. Developed by Dubai Municipality, this area is one of Dubai's oldest manufacturing hubs, home to retail shops, offices, factories and auto shops.

Anchorage Church and Life Church Global are present in the area. St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Oud Mehta Road is a short drive via Al Khail Road, E44. Gurunanak Darbar Gurdwara in Jebel Ali is around 20 to 25-minute away.

There are many reputable schools in Al Quoz. Amled School is a short drive away from Al Quoz Industrial Area 2. It follows the CBSE curriculum and has received a “Good” rating from the KHDA. Other options in closer proximity include:

GEMS International School (GIS) Al Khail is one of Dubai's few International Baccalaureate (IB) schools, offering education from primary years to higher secondary levels. Part of the GEMS network, the school caters to students aged 3 to 18, covering early education through to the diploma programme. This branch is located at an 8-minute drive.

Horizon International School is a prominent British school in Dubai. The school offers education from Foundation Stage 1 to Sixth Form (Year 13), following the National Curriculum for England. This branch is located on Street 9A in Umm Al Sheif.

Those looking for adventurous water sports events can access Kite Beach, which is also the hub of kayaking in Dubai.

Kite Beach by Meraas makes for an eventful spot, perfect to spend your weekend. If you are fond of kayaking in Dubai, you can simply hit the main road and drive down to the beach.

Trampoline Park in Al Quoz 4 is also a nice option specially for those looking to spend evenings with kids. Those fond of art like to visit Alserkal Avenue, the hub of modern art galleries.

Al Quoz Pond Park is a short drive from Al Quoz Industrial Area. There are jogging tracks and shaded benches around water and a playground for kids. One can also plan a day picnic at the BBQ areas in the pond park.

Al Quoz Industrial Area is a bustling community and a dedicated industrial zone. There aren’t many residential options around here but the community is home to many workers and staff members in the companies at Al Quoz. The area is predominantly occupied by warehouses.

Al Quoz, Dubai is located in the west region of the city. It borders Al Wasl, Umm Al Sheif, Al Manara and Al Safa, forming a long rectangular strip between Al Khail Road, E44 and Sheikh Zayed Road, E11.

You can take a bus, train, taxi or car to get from Sharjah to Al Quoz Industrial Area 3. If you are looking to take the bus from Sharjah, head to Jumbo and board E307 to arrive at the Deira City Centre Bus Station.

For metro, one can go for the route from Deira City Centre to First Gulf Bank.

Metro stations at Noor Bank, Mall of the Emirates and Abu Dhabi First Bank are the closest options.

Al Quoz is a creative free zone area. A free zone is supposed to be an economic area with no taxes or duties designed to boost business.
