Al Nudood is a waterfront linear residential community in Ras Al Khaimah. Situated near the Ras Al Khaimah harbour, the community mainly consists of mid-range villas. It is also well connected to main roads making it convenient to travel outside the area. Al Mataf Road runs alongside the community and further connects with Al Manama – Ras Al Khaimah Road (E11).

Al Nudood offers a peaceful neighbourhood, set right next to Ras Al Khaimah harbour. The waterfront community comes with basic facilities like schools, mosques and supermarkets in the area. It is also well-connected to the roadside that allows easy access to the central emirate. Families can visit the beach anytime, as well as head outside the town to spend a fun-filled day.

Properties in Al Nudood mainly consist of villas that come in 2, 3 and 4-bedroom configurations. The average rental price of a 3-bedroom villa in al Nudood is approximately AED 36k.

Most of the properties are built on Arabesque architecture, while a few modern villas are also seen in the community. There are no immediate public transport in Al Nudood, as the emirate itself has limited bus stops and no metro stations. One can arrange a taxi to drive around the area, or use private vehicles. RAK Bus Station is situated 21-minutes of drive away from here via Khuzam Road.

Zam Zam Grocery, Al Nokhbah Supermarket and Mabrook Supermarket in Al Nudood are the go-to spots for quick grab on grocery items. Other supermarkets nearby are located towards Sheikh Salem Bin Sultan Road, these are Al Hamriya Grocery, Al Maamurah Grocery and Al Tehseen Grocery.

Residents can visit the three mosques in Al Nudood for religious offerings called Al Sahaba Mosque, Assad Mohammed Rafeq Raqam Mosque and Masjid Salimeen. Nearby mosques are Murshed Bin Abdullah juma’a Mosque, Abu Huraira Mosque and Masjid Sayed Mohammed Abdullah.

People belonging to Christianity can visit Tent of Glory Church in Al Mamourah community at a drive of about 7-minutes. St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and St Mary’s Orthodox Church in Al Seer are accessible within a 12-minute drive.

Al Mataf Boys School for Basic and Secondary Education is the main school in Al Nudood where the kids of the community can get their basic education. This school also has a pre-primary branch, named Al Mataf Kindergarten Play School. Another nursery school in the area where you can drop off your young ones is Salama Nursery.

Some notable primary and secondary schools are found in the neighbouring districts. Al Nasr Private School and Al Yasser Primary School are in Al Sharishah, while Pakistan Higher Secondary School and Ideal English School are at a distance of 5-minutes in Al Mamourah. Ideal English School is one of the best schools in Ras Al Khaimah, offering CBSE curriculum.

The nearest clinics from Al Nudood that residents can visit under a 10-minute drive are Al Mamoorah Health Center, Julphar Health Center, Al Nakheel Medical Clinic and Aster Clinic.

RAK Hospital and Al Oraibi Hospital are two hospitals available within a 12-minute driving radius from Al Nudood. Both of these hospitals offer specalised health services and are among the best hospitals in Ras Al Khaimah.

Located close to the waterfront areas of the emirate, Al Nudood shares immediate borders with Al Mataf from the east, Al Darbijaniyah from the west and Al Sharisha from the south. Other neighbouring areas are Al Seer, Al Mamourah, Al Sall and Al Mairid.

Once you start heading towards the central emirate, Al Nakheel and Al Uraibi are the first two popular residential areas to pop up after Al Seer.

The nearest retail destination from Al Nudood is Al Naeem Mall. It is located in Dafan Al Nakheel, a straight drive on Al Muntasir Road. This is one of the largest shopping malls in the area. Built on four storeys, it offers a combination of departmental stores, anchor stores, some favourite international shopping brands, Spinneys, several dining options and many entertainment options including a Cinemax Cinema.

Another popular mall nearby is Manar Mall, approximately 14-minutes away. This mall features a collection of more than 120 shopping outlets, a hypermarket, several dining options and entertainment spots. Some of the popular branded shops in the mall are H&M, Marks & Spencer, Sephora and The Body Shop. Both of these aforementioned malls are among the top malls in Ras Al Khaimah.

A variety of restaurants are available near Al Nudood. Spice Village Restaurant is a casual dining place in Al Mamourah that offers many different cuisines including North Indian, Chinese and Arabian. If you feel like trying Italian, visit the nearest Italian Corner for quick bites, while Chillis Restaurant offers a range of Mexican items. Al Noof Restaurant is well-known for serving bakery items, quick bites but you can also try out traditional Arabian and Middle Eastern dishes here.

Savour the taste of Zanzibar at Al Zinjibari Restaurant, which is one of the top-rated restaurants near the area. It serves Coastal and Swahili cuisines with a blend of African, Arabian, Indian and Portuguese dishes.

For a fun-filled day out at the beach, there are a number of beaches available within a short drive from your homes. The closest one is Ras Al Khaimah Public Beach to the west of Al Nudood. Further ahead of it, there is Sidroh Beach and Al Jazeerah Beach.

Al Rams Beach and Hulayla Beach are located towards the opposite side, on the east, while Jazairat Al Hamra Beach, a popular beach in Ras Al Khaimah, is only 11-minutes away from the area.

Ras Al Khaimah may be overlooked in terms of entertainment venues and tourist destinations, but there are some popular locations in the city that are a-must-visit. Ice Land Water Park in RAK is located in Al Jazirah Al Hamra, approximately half an hour drive from Al Nudood. This snow-themed water park is considered as one of the best water parks in the UAE as it features several exciting activities like wave pools, landslides and private cabanas.

At a 10-minute drive, there is Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Resort and Spa, one of the famous resorts in RAK where you can indulge in adventurous activities, such as mountain hiking, desert driving, quad-biking, jet skiing and much more.

Compared to the above thrilling venues, a quieter tourist spot is the National Museum of Ras Al Khaimah, at a 10-minute distance. The interesting history of this museum intrigues every first-time visitor as they get a tour around the place while enjoying the artefacts on the display.

Al Nudood is close to some well-known parks and cricket grounds including Nuaimi Cricket Ground and Pakistan Association Rak Sports Club. There’s Al Uraibi Park at a 14-minute drive in Al Uraibi community where families and friends can visit to spend some quality time and enjoy a day amidst nature.

As for indoor fitness centres, one can head down to Rashaqa Life Fitness Sports Center. It is a large gymnasium in the area featuring several types of equipment, suitable for any athletic activity one may want to try. Other popular gyms nearby are Body Building and Golden Lion Gym.

Beauty parlours in the area are Royal Ruby Salon and Ritaj Beauty Henna Saloon. There are two gents Salon close to the area, named Tarabiya Gents Saloon and Almouj Gents Saloon.

You won’t find any nightlife options or events happening within the area but the rest of the emirate is up for exploring. Several activities, events and eating festivals for food lovers take place in the emirate throughout the year. As for nightlife options and parties you can visit Ritz Carlton Hotel RAK in Al Hamra Village.

Al Nudood is a residential community suitable for people who like slow-paced living. The area offers villas in the affordable range, but since the property is cheap here, many houses are already taken up for rent. So finding a property here can be a bit challenging.
