Presently, there are no malls in Al Manama. But the upcoming Al Dhaid Mall will be a 14-minute drive away from the district. Once completed, it will provide an extravagant shopping, dining and entertainment experience to visitors.

Getting to beaches near Al Manama takes about an hour. Sandy Beach, Umbrella Beach and Khorfakken Beach are all located at a 46-minute drive in the northern emirate of Fujairah. Umbrella Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Fujairah. There’s a dedicated play area for the kids to enjoy to the maximum. Khorfakkan Beach is a popular tourist destination offering lots of fun-filled activities. You can book your watersports and boating trips with local tour guides to have an adventurous day at the beach.
Notable landmarks within Manama Ajman are its two fortresses – The Red Fort and The White Fort. These sites host community activities during holidays. The White Fort, originally named Al Mareer Fort, now houses the Al Manama Museum. The Red Fort dates back to the 20th Century and consists of four rooms in two towers. Gravel and red plaster were used to construct the walls; hence it got the name The Red Fort.
The highlight of the community is the Hassa Buweid Castle. This castle was constructed in 1976 as a fortress by H.H. late Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi. Hassa Buweid means ‘white stones’ and it takes its name from the hills that form its base.
Masafi Fort is another popular tourist attraction located in the neighbouring emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. Other attractions such as Wadi Shis, Al Raugh Tunnel and Al Multaqa Tunnel are a 30-minute drive away from the neighbourhood.
For outdoor activities, there are numerous parks in the vicinity. Al Hisn Ladies Park, Al Suwaih Park and Al Sherei’ah Ladies Park are all around 20 minutes away. Al Hisan Ladies Park is a great place to relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings while Al Suwaih is another popular destination with vast green spaces and a big playground.

While Manama Ajman isn’t the most luxurious neighbourhood, it has everything one would need for comfortable living at a short drive. Perhaps the only downside is that shopping and entertainment options are limited at this point in time and it requires a long drive to reach them.
