The community is home to Dubai Early Chidhood Development Centre (DECDC), an early intervention program for children with special needs and their families. The institute looks after all areas of development and education of these students within the premises and conducts trainings and awareness campaigns. DECDC is located in Al Hudaibah Awards Building, Block C.
Also nearby is the Special Needs Future Development Center, a school for children with special needs. However, out of all these schools, Ambassador School seems to be most popular for its focus on quality education. Although there are no malls in Al Hudaiba, the closest shopping mall is Al Ghazal Mall which is located on 2nd of December Street on the corner of Al Hudaiba and Al Badaa. This is a medium-sized mall near Al Hudaiba home to a few retail stores. There are also some cafés and restaurants you can visit. This is a great mall to visit for those who don’t want to travel far. Those looking to shop for a few essentials under one roof can go to Al Hanaa Center in Al Hudaiba.
If you drive a little further south you can choose from the many community malls in Jumeirah. There is Palm Strip Mall, Jumeira Plaza, Mercato Mall, Town Centre Jumeirah and more.
Dubai Mall is also a short 11-minute drive away. Apart from the vast shopping and dining establishments, it is considered to have some of the most exciting entertainment venues. Some great options of entertainment and fun near Dubai Mall include watching the Dubai Fountain show or taking your children to KidZania, a small city where they can explore and let their imaginations run wild.

The nightlife and the overall standard of living in Al Hudaiba is anything but boring which means that you’ll find plenty to do and experience on the weekend. For one, residents can visit The Docks, a Scottish pub which is located in the Ramada by Wyndham Jumeirah Hotel in Al Hudaiba. One great thing about this pub is that it has a happy hour and a casual environment with outdoor seating. Other popular licensed venues are located in the Capitol Hotel such as the night club Xanadu, a pub called Olympic Sports Club and the Czar Club. There are a few beaches near Al Hudaiba. The closest one is Jumeirah Public Beach. It is one of Dubai’s oldest beach spots and is quite popular with residents and tourists alike. Al Hudaiba Awards Building is a defining landmark for the area. It consists of three large mixed-use buildings which house commercial shops, offices and retail spaces. There is a statue of a sinking ship in the water fountain right outside the building which is a popular location for evening strolls.
Al Hudaiba is close to many cultural landmarks. Union House is located right outside the community. It is the location where the unification documents for the United Arab Emirates were signed. It is part of the Etihad Museum which features many other traditional items and cultural displays. In addition to this, the museum features a library, an educational centre and an events venue.
Although there aren’t any golf courses within the community’s borders, the Dubai Creek and Golf Club is just 15 minutes away via car. It has three different golf courses, the Par 3 course is a 9-hole golf course aimed at beginners or those looking to improve their short game. The Championship Course is a large 18-hole, par 71 courses, loved by professionals. Those looking for a fun day out can try their hand at the #minigolfdubai Course which is perfect for players of all ages and expertise.
Although there are no community parks in Al Hudaiba, a 5-minute drive will take you to the parks in the nearby community of Al Mankhool. This park is called Al Mankhool Park and is worth visiting as one will find several shaded areas and benches where park visitors could sit and watch their children play.
The massive Zabeel Park is also nearby, within a 7-minute drive. It features many different entertainment amenities and other facilities so there’s a lot of things to do in Zabeel Park for kids and adults alike.

Overall it’s a small community, but surrounding it are communities such as Al Satwa, Al Jaffiliya and Al Mina. While living here, one doesn’t necessarily need to own a car as the public transportation in the area is accessible and metro stations are located in the nearby communities. Villas in Al Hudaiba are difficult to find and might not be an ideal location for those with large families.
