Al Hosn, also known as Al Hisn, is a popular area in Abu Dhabi that lies on the northern side of the capital city. The district is located towards the coastal shore, on the western side of Al Danah and on the east of Khalidiya Village. It is home to Qasr Al Hosn, a historical landmark of the emirate.

Al Hosn mainly consists of residential apartments but also features some commercial properties. The network of roads within the area is its most prominent feature, while Corniche Street and Zayed The First Street run through the community, it has easy access to Al Salam Street which is also known as Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Street (E10).

Al Hosn is located towards the northern region of Abu Dhabi, bordering the corniche side. It takes approximately 8-minutes from Al Shahama – Abu Dhabi Road (E10) to reach Al Hosn. Al Hosn Abu Dhabi should not be confused with Dibba Al Hisn, in Sharjah.
