Al Ajban is a residential area in Al Ain located on the northern side of the emirate. Three of the major roads of the emirate; Al Faya Road (E75), Al Taf Road (E16) and Al Faqa Road (E14) run alongside the community. The district has standalone villas available in different layouts and farmhouses.
Al Ajban is a rural area of the emirate with farms and dune conservations. Most of the part of the district is secluded while houses are built alongside Al Taf Road and an extension of Sweihan Road in the community. This road connectivity offers easy access to the central areas of Al Ain and Dubai.

Haraz Mosque in Al Ajban is the only worship place for Muslim community members within the community. Other mosques nearby include Sheikh Nasir Al Mazroi Masjid, Rashid Tarshoum Al Mohayri Mosque and Masjid Abu Bakr Al Siddique.
Those who follow Christianity can visit churches in Al Ain after driving for around an hour or more. St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Al Ain Pentecostal Fellowship and Al Ain Evangelical Church are a few of them.
Parents with school-going children will find plenty of educational institutes near the community. Al Bedaa Primary and Secondary School, Nahel School for Girls, Al Sariyah Primary and Secondary School and Sweihan School are a few of them. Al Faqa and Al Hayer are located towards the eastern side while Sweihan shares the border from the south. If you travel more towards the south, Al Yahar and Al Nahil are situated there. Other nearby areas include Al Madam Sharjah and Al Lisaili Dubai.
Residents will have to drive to neighbouring areas to visit the glitzy shopping malls of the emirate. The nearest options include Aliah Mall and Souq Extra.
There is no shortage of restaurants near Al Ajban located at the intersection of Sweihan Road and Al Taf Road. These include Arabic Restaurant, Al Rashedi Restaurant, Potato World and Sweihan Haut Cafeteria. Residents can also drive to neighbouring areas to dine at some of the best restaurants in the city. Some of them are The Grillers Restaurant, Al Maram Restaurant and Nader Restaurant.
Residents must prepare themselves for a long drive to visit the coastline of the emirate. The popular beaches nearby include JBR Beach and Yas Beach.

The zoo features 1700 animals which are kept in different zones such as snake alley, bird park, reptile house and wildlife walk. It also has a pair of white lions, zebras and Siberian bears. The resort in the zoo features well-equipped rooms with balconies overlooking the zoo or garden. It is situated near Zayed Bin Sultan Street in Al Bahia community.
Another historical and notable landmark near Al Ajban is Qasr Al Muwaiji. The fort is the generational home of the Al Nahyan family and was used for date plantation in 1966. It was declared the UAE’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2012 after the restoration. It has an exhibition space which showcases the life of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Other worth-seeing places in the fort are the courtyard and the black-marble dry fountain.
