Al Aaliah or Al Alia is a small mixed-use community in Ajman. It is situated away from the Ajman city centre and Ajman Corniche, connecting to other districts via Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311). Al Aaliah is surrounded by many local and popular mosques, including Masjid Thani bin Isa bin Hareb 5, Hamidiya Mosque and Sheikh Saqr Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Mosque. All of these are within a 10 to 15-minute of radius if you are taking a car.

The nearest church is Gods Pavilion Champions Chapel, located in Raddison Blu Hotel. It will take a 17 minutes drive to reach. Another church near Al Aaliah is CCC Light International, about 20-minute away. A bunch of churches are available in Sharjah, Al Yarmook district. A few to name, these are St. Martin’s Anglican Church, Russian Orthodox Church and St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church. It will take a good 20 to 21-minute drive to reach here, depending on the traffic.

The most popular nursery is Kids Town Nursery located in Al Raqaib at a 9-minute distance. It is also the closest option available for little kids, while a few pre-primary options nearby include Magic Castle Nursery and Green Apple Nursery.

Towards its northern borders lies Al Raqaib, while eastern and western ends occupy Al Bahia and Al Muntazi. Right across the main highway, you will find other residential areas like Al Yasmeen, Al Amerah, Emirates City and Al Helio.

For a thorough shopping spree, residents can find some popular malls near Al Aaliah. Ajman China Mall is the most popular retail complex in all of Ajman. There are over 1000 retail outlets spread within the 13 buildings. Moreover, it features wholesale businesses, supermarkets, dining outlets and entertainment options. Other popular malls near Al Alia which offer a comprehensive shopping experience are considered the best malls in Ajman, these include Grande Centrale, City Centre Ajman and Dana Mall.

Food lovers can easily locate a few casual dining restaurants, fast food joints and cafes in the neighbourhood. A few of these include Mughlai Junction Restaurant, Al Forno, Chimney Restaurant and Khozamma Al Kabab Al Shaken Rest & Grill.

Mughlai Junction is located in Lillies Tower and serves the famous Mughlai cuisine as well as Pakistani and Indian dishes. Al Forno is an Italian eatery while Chimney has specialised in all types of Indian cuisines along with a variety of fast food.

If you are planning to spend your weekends doing some beachside activities and soaking up the sun on a sandy beach, plan a trip to Ajman Corniche. Here you will find a couple of public beaches including Al Zorah Public Beach and Al Hamriya Public Beach.

Since the community is not yet completely developed, most of the surroundings are deserted or still under construction. However, the Al Tallah Camel Race Course is a popular attraction for race lovers in Ajman. Hosting camel racing during the months of October to March, it is open to everyone all over the world. You can bring your camels and participate in the race here or simply witness the galloping camels that revive popular Bedouin tradition.

Al Zorah Nature Reserve, located 15 minutes away, is home to a diverse range of wildlife species, including both animals and plants. Residents can visit to appreciate the scenic beauty of the lakes and mangrove woods, as well as over 50 species of migrating and exotic birds and aquatic creatures. It’s a beautiful site for nature lovers, and it’s surrounded by Al Zorah Golf Club, a world-class golf course.

The landscaped parks in the locality are few to find. However, some parks in the neighbouring communities, such as Helio Park, Ghbat Al Raghayeb Park and Al Yasmin Park are popular among those who practice regular jogging and a casual stroll. Sports lovers will find Ajman Cricket Club at a short distance from Al Alia.

Those who train regularly will find popular gyms near Al Aaliah including Evolution Gym, Reds Gym and Blue Star Gym. The Gym Sports Center is a gym exclusively for ladies. Salons nearby are Blooming Beauty Lounge, Aliza Beauty Salon and N Garden Beauty Lounge.

If you are planning to move to Al Aaliah must keep in mind that the community offers small rental apartments that come in the configuration of studios and 1-bed units. These are most suitable for foreign individuals who come to the UAE in search of employment. The properties, however, can be availed by anyone. The community is still under construction, so people who like to invest here can look for residential and commercial plots. However, finding a ready apartment for sale in Al Alia can be a bit tricky.
