Abu Krayyah, also spelt as Bu Kirayyah, is a residential district in Al Ain located on the western side of the emirate. It is a small village with a rich agricultural area, farms and desert. It is situated next to Nimah Road, while Um Zumoul Road lies in proximity to the community.
Abu Krayyah is a family-friendly residential area that offers a wide range of amenities and facilities. Although it is located far away from the central city, the well-connected road network provides ease for commuting to neighbouring areas. The residential district has several farms and a wastewater treatment plant to facilitate residents.
The upcoming projects in the neighbourhood include parks, shelterbelts around the village and transport infrastructure as per Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030.

These include Al Baker Restaurant, Gazebo Restaurant, Al Rekab Restaurant and 101 Café & Restaurant. Residents can also dine at some of the best restaurants in Al Ain, such as Coriander Restaurant, The Coffee Club and Al Fanar Restaurant & Café. All these dining options are easily accessible through Nimah Road and Um Zumoul Road.
Since the residential district is situated on the eastern side of the emirate, it will take around a 1 or 2-hour drive to visit the coastline. Yas Beach and Al Raha Beach are popular picnic spots for families.

Alanka Fort was constructed by Sheikh Saeed bin Tahnoon, the head of state of Abu Dhabi, in 1848. The fort served as a residence of the ruling family of that time and was restored in the 1980s. The fort’s walls are built with mud bricks, while palm trunks were used for ceilings and gypsum for details. A two-storey tower stands in the middle of the fort as well. Alanka Fort is situated in Rimah and freely accessible for tourists.
