An Agent Profile is like your resume on Bayut – it is an opportunity to tell property seekers a bit about yourself, your specialisations (rental or sales), areas of service, and the languages you speak.
Having an Agent Profile with all this information is excellent for building your personal brand. Along with property seekers on Bayut seeing it with your listings, your Agent Profile is one of the first things that pops up when someone looks your name up online.
You can use Profolio™ (app or website) to set up your Agent Profile on Bayut. Here’s how you can complete your Agent Profile on both platforms:
Setting Up Your Bayut Agent Profile
Profolio™
Sign in to your Profolio™ account from the Bayut home page or at bayut.com/profolio
Once you have logged into Profolio™, click on your image or the icon on the top of the screen, and head over to “Agent Profile”.
We recommend adding a professional headshot to your profile and completing the ‘About Yourself’ section with a well-written summary that tells clients why they should be contacting you.
After entering all the relevant information, click the Submit button at the bottom of the screen to save. Once our team has approved your profile, it will go live on Bayut.
Please note that agents must have at least one listing live on Bayut for your profile to go live.
Profolio™ app
Click on the “Profile” tab on the Profolio™ app to access your Agent Profile.
From here, you can click on Agent Profile.
Fill in your name, gender, about yourself, nationality, areas of specialisation, Broker Registration Number (if applicable) and years of experience.

Tips To Improve Your Agent Profile
Want to create a memorable Agent Profile on Bayut? Here are our top recommendations:
- Use a professional headshot for your Bayut Agent Profile
A professionally taken photograph gives property seekers a better first impression, than, perhaps, a selfie. When you’re getting your photo taken, ensure you’re wearing professional attire. You can upload both .jpg and .png files for your profile picture.
- You can use either the first or third person while writing your ‘About Yourself’ section. It depends on how you want to sound to a potential client – use the first person (for example, I am keen on helping first-time homebuyers in Dubai) for a friendly, conversational tone, and the third person (for example, Jane has an in-depth understanding of Dubai real estate industry) for a more professional and serious tone.
3. We recommend keeping the language simple, without real estate jargon. For example, instead of I analyse past real estate transactions in Dubai to understand the market’s performance, you can say I am continuously updated about the Dubai real estate market’s performance.
- Share your strengths and why clients should work with you.
What are your key strengths – is it that you’re a skilled negotiator, or do you have a strong network?
Talk about how these strengths can help property seekers in their journey. For example, my solid network of developers in Dubai helps me locate the right developments for my clients.
5. Since Bayut’s Agent Profiles show users your years of experience and your area of specialisation, use the ‘About Yourself’ section to share your story, your expertise and how you can add value to your client’s property journey.
I am a Senior Property Consultant at ABC Property. I fell in love with the city during my trip here and was inspired by the beautiful buildings to kick off my career in Dubai real estate. I am passionate about helping people find their dream homes in this thriving city.
- Tell a story: One way to personalise your Bayut Agent Profile is by sharing a story about yourself. In the ‘About Yourself’ section, talk about why you chose to work in the real estate industry, or why you’re passionate about your career. Is it your love for houses, or your love for Dubai, or do you want to help people find their dream homes?
- If you have worked in other industries previously, share the skills you have picked up from then that help you in your real estate career today.
For example, if you were previously working in hospitality, you can say, ‘My four-year stint in hospitality has helped me build stronger customer service skills’. Or, if you were previously in marketing, talk about how your marketing skills help when working with sellers. You can mention your strong work ethic, attention to detail, etc.
- Use language that speaks to both buyers and sellers. Buyers would want to work with someone who will help them find a home that fits their requirements, and a seller wants someone who can get them a reasonable price for their home.
For example, “I help all property seekers in Ras Al Khaimah find their dream home in the emirate. If you’re looking to sell your home, I leverage my knowledge of the market to help you sell for a great price”.
Set your Bayut Agent Profile today, and get your name noticed by property seekers online.
