What is TruCheck™ and how does it work?
The TruCheck™ badge allows realtors to showcase property listings’ availability and authenticity.
Since its launch, listings validated with the TruCheck™ badge received five times more leads and 20 times more impressions. In addition, listings with the TruCheck™ badge are automatically boosted to the highest rank in each listing category (Signature, Hot and Standard), thereby increasing visibility and leads.
Having higher TruCheck™ listings can help you attain the Quality Lister badge, which can help increase your visibility and exposure on the Agent Portal. To qualify for the Quality Lister badge, Dubai agents require five TruCheck™ listings, while Abu Dhabi agents need at least two TruCheck™ listings, or one TruCheck™ and five Checked listings.
Steps to get the TruCheck™ badge
Step 1: Fill in your unit’s Trakheesi permit number to get the Checked badge. If all the details of your Trakheesi are correct and match the property’s details that you shared when creating the listing – such as it’s purpose, number of bedrooms, location, etc – you will receive the Checked badge.
To authenticate your listing with TruCheck™, you need to be at the location of the property that has been Checked. Once you’re at the doorstep of the unit, head over to ‘Manage Listings’ and click listing you want to authenticate.

Step 2 – Take a live picture of the property, from the Profolio™ app and get the TruCheck™ badge on your listing!
This second step ensures the property’s availability on the market. You can take up to five photographs of the property that follow our TruCheck™ image guidelines. We recommend taking clear photographs showing the unit number and an inside view of the property. Here are some guidelines to keep in mind.
Villas
- Enter the villa, preferably the living room and open Profolio™. You will be able to access the camera and take a photo
- The photo needs to be similar to the photographs uploaded with the listing.
Apartments, Offices and Business Centres
- Take a photo outside the front door with the door slightly open to show its interiors
- Make sure the unit number is visible in the picture.
After submitting your images, they are then reviewed by our moderation team. Uploading up to five relevant photos of the property gives you a higher chance of your TruCheck™ request being approved. It can be a walkthrough of the various rooms in the unit or angles that match the photos in your listing.
