The Dubai Land Department (DLD), through RERA (Real Estate Regulatory Authority), has launched the Madmoun service, a new scheme to ensure transparency in the real estate market. With this scheme, a QR code will be issued alongside real estate advertisement permits (Trakheesi permits).
The DLD has ruled this initiative mandatory for real estate advertisements and Bayut will be complying by ensuring property seekers can view these QR codes on our platforms. Here’s everything you need to know about this new real estate verification service by the DLD.
What is the DLD’s Madmoun Service? A Quick Rundown
- The Madmoun service is a QR code issued with real estate permits (Trakheesi permit).
- The service is accessible through the DLD’s Trakheesi system. You can refer to Bayut’s guide on how to apply for a Trakheesi permit for a greater understanding of the process.
- Real estate companies will be adding the QR code to their advertisements, including print and audiovisual ads.
- Property seekers can scan the QR code to verify the listing’s information on the DLD’s website, such as details about the advertising company, the property’s specifications and whether it’s been rented or sold.
- According to the issued circular, the DLD’s Madmoun service came into effect from the 24th April 2023.
